I recommend asking people ASAP if they want to do speeches. When we started asking for an MC we were shocked it took 3 to get a yes! I should have known speeches would be the same. Everyone I've asked on my side (minus my dad) is too shy and wants to drink first. Sigh. I get it cause I'm shy just a little surprised. I don't want to force anyone or make them uncomfortable. Our MC knows he's toasting at the end of the ceremony but I think we will have MC announce anyone who wants to can say a speech, but otherwise may forego asking people. I will ask my dad but he's my last hope! My sister told me no parents did at her wedding either as too uncomfortable. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You didn't think vista print would print well? I've heard great reviews. Mine won't be double sided so they can change things out (thinking of them using them again!) I planned to just use regular cardstock too but I got that vistaprint groupon. Luggage tag front inserts will be the last item so if not enough $$ will make myself. My fiancé suggested soaking in hot water to loosen glue. Not sure?? I have goo gone and that helped but still uber tedious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Awesome!!! Did you do your luggage tag insert on vistaprint? Still deciding what I want to do as I wanted a variety! I think I have the same paper cutter as you. For our invites I borrowed the one at work for he weekend!! Ugh! Taking labels off the tumblers is a PITA!! Some came off easy and others not so much. Was a tedious task so I only did 3 of 48 ha! Lots to keep you busy enjoy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Off Topic: Anyone In Alberta Do The Neon Run In Edmonton?

Never heard of it nor what happened in Edmonton. I did the zombie survivor. That's the only race I've done. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
Resorts Without Free Wi-Fi?

From what I've read at our resort it's one device only. So the reviews warn to pick the device you plan to use most. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Yes I would definitely clean it and get it in a garment bag, but totally ask a seamstress about preserving it. I know David's Bridal sells fancy boxes for preserving. Maybe they are air tight in there?? I love putting mine on so I don't want anything where if I open it I pay money to reseal it or whatever. After the fact sure. Would be curious her recommendations with you being 21 months out!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I didn't see them at Michael's either and I am in Calgary. I saw letters you could get to spell 'bride' but would be a lot of work! Amazon.ca has bride and bridesmaid and if you spend over $25 shipping is free. I need more than that as I want flower girl and sister of the bride too. Edit. That etsy store is cheap! Worth checking out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I know you are away celebrating your wedding but question for when you are back. I want to do these but the tanks I love are from Old Navy and have a slight rib in them. I think this would be ok as I've seen some pics where the shirts look ribbed but wanted an opinion. Thanks! Bought my Wedding ring!
calgarybride2015 replied to Cole5worm's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Haha yes! And they cost more than you think! Or more than I thought. Heck I think I had $500 total for 2. Fiance's was $400 alone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
That's great. I needed to go custom for my first e ring's band and the prices were way way higher. So I opted for a new e-ring. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk For some reason I also like the idea of a band on either side. I only have one now but for my 1st anniversary I plan to ask for another. Mine doesn't have diamonds in it, just like the look. I agree when they are curved and intricate to fit a e-ring it's hard to wear alone. I plan to sauter (sp?) mine so I can't do that anyways. I can't see the dress I read in another post that David's bridal has some under $100. I also found some on Zappos. Try department stores and places like 'Laura' for prom type dress or cocktail dresses. They are more than suitable. Sears had a lot in a good price range. I just couldn't find any in my Fuschia color I liked. Also Le Chateau's sales racks. They are over priced otherwise IMO. Good luck. I feel your pain. I couldn't find anything I liked other than a $160 dress so I helped them pay for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

And So It Starts.... :(
calgarybride2015 replied to calgarybride2015's topic in Just venting or funnies
Is your promo with the airline or the resort? Ours is with the airline and includes anyone over 13 (so paying full price) whether they are in a double, single, or triple room. We get every 17 person free. Our 'free' wedding package at the resort only includes double rooms and we needed 10 which I think we sit around 16 so not worried about that. I quoted free as our wedding still costs $4500 ish dollars with the free package. Sorry to hear you are dealing with this too. It's just tough cause you want them there. But you also have that moment were you realize that extra bonus would be uber helpful. But at the end of the day there isn't much we can do!! Glad you were able to work it out for your friend though that the single supplement wasn't needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I Think I'm The Only September 2014 Bride!

NJBride got married in Cancun yesterday Congrats!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I'm bringing table number frames, shells and mini pails as votive holders for the tables. Also the guestbook postcards, little treasure chest to hold them and a sign for it. Then a larger frame for my seating chart. Possibly a couple more frames for pics of us. Also a ring bearer shell and flower girl pail. Other than the shells. Nothing is breakable. Then maracas and OOT tumblers. Will need so much room lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think whether people like it up or down or to the side best on you, you need to figure out how best it will hold in the humidity and thru the entire day. This has been a large stress for me as I have wavy hair I flat iron daily. I realize I will probably have to tack my bangs back or to the side somehow as they are the worst culprit but trying to grow them some (even though I keep pushing back lol) because I know it's for the best. Don't want to regret my poofy frizzy hair in wedding pics when I knew better lol. I've been considering extensions to help. I have a shorter bob. I have an idea for my hair and plan to see what my hair dresser thinks Wednesday. Also inquire into products that will help with humidity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I want to wear mine all day. I love it that much. I'll just bustle the train to keep it out of the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
