  1. Totally agree!! A lot will, but some won't. I know Amols and Old Navy do, but Aldo Shoes doesn't (those were the 3 I tried to order from Canada to a US address).
  2. If you have a dollarama they are cheaper well, with a coupon at michaels you may get a better price! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hope so cause I plan to bring some! Hopefully someone knows. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hugs, I am sorry you are going thru this! Like the other ladies said, while it sucks big time, remember the day is for you and your fiance and will be special no matter who is there. I have had some 'drama' with my guest list too and it stings big time. I have shed many tears as well, but trying to remember this is supposed to be the happiest time of our lives. You will have a beautiful day. Good luck!
  5. I've certainly seen better luggage, but it's really not bad. Since we are just buying it to use for Mexico I really don't care! The 30" upright actually will hold all my 48 tumblers fully assembled with no issues!! that excites us.
  6. I'm staying at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya and it's a 5*. From Canada we are paying $1565 for a week in January. Checks everything on your list so worth a check Congrats and good luck. Picking a resort will be overwhelming but then the fun begins. You may also like the Grand Bahia Principe resorts. There are three and you can move between them but each has their own things. Ie - Coba has the kids water park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. You could also check a Dollarama in Ontario. They are $2 but they are great!
  8. A blow dryer on the labels works wonders to pull them off the tumblers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. OMG! That's fantastic. What I love about it, flash mob or not, is how a lot of us women seem to react the same way 'are you kidding?' 'Is this a joke?' Ahhh so sweet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Canadian Tire has a 7 piece luggage set on for 65% off so it's $79.99. You get a 30, 25, and 21 upright. Then a 30 and 20 duffle, then a tote and shaving kit. You can't get a 30 upright for that price (ok maybe close at Walmart) so even if you don't use it all you are still ahead Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. That's their job so don't worry about it they are annoyed or not. If they want your business they should and will be pleasant and helpful! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I found that you just had way more selection especially if you wanted the sample sized packets. Overall amazon.com is better than amazon.ca. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Lots on amazon.com but don't ship to Canada!!! I'm not close enough to a border to make it worth shipping there and driving to pick up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yes they all are. In Canada most packages are 7 days so not sure they'd get quite the deal if they went shorter! Generally we do 7.10, or 14! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Ohhh what's coming in? I love waiting for mail. A new high lol I'm totally taking advantage of carry on. Already found bags that meet the max size and plan to pack them full Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Good luck We are doing me -1, fiancé -1, twins-1. Then we get 3 more as per our agreement. One will solely be the cups but I think we should be ok to get the rest in 2 but if not I'm prepared for the $25 charge! 6 or 7 suitcases I hope is it. Can you imagine? I read on here one lady had 18. What?!?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. My venue recommended we bring our own. They will take space but it's minimal in comparison to our favors. That's what's killing us space wise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I got the 2.5 circles and they also are good (from Davets) My cups are $2 from dollarama and they are double wall and great for the price Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Mine take up little room. I got nothing breakable. But I am also using my BMs bouquets as flowers so no fake ones to pack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Who are you using? My spa charges well over $200 for both! No bad reviews, but I have been looking to outside vendors. MVP looks great, but getting them on my resort is super pricey and not sure I want the hassle of going offsite just in case. I am ok with the price for me, but I noticed MVP was cheaper for my BM's than my spa. I am sure I will stick with the spa but it's not a bad idea to price things out and see if you can get a better deal and/or better product.
  21. You totally can sit on those things right now, and make the best choice for you. Gives you time to shop around not only for a great price but you can go back and forth on what you want. I made a lot of early decisions that may not have been my final decision had I sat on it a little longer - some which in the end cost me more money because I ended up also getting what I wanted. But on the flip side, since i am a winter wedding I had to move on somethings as they are seasonal. Live and learn! ps - I just try to remind myself that a lot of my guests have never been to a destination wedding so they don't have huge expectations. I don't think anyone would expect fire dancers or a mariachi or even elaborate favors. I think for them just being there is enough!
  22. I think your dress is beautiful!! And I can see why you chose it. I don't have much experience with belts, but I searched your dress on google and there are pictures of it with sparkly belts, and I think they look great! Maybe you could bring your dress back into the store (unless it's already there) and put it on and try some belts? You could also dress it up with your accessories. What had you planned to wear? If you want something to pop - maybe get a statement necklace or bracelet. I think it's beautiful, I would try the belts out first before I paid for another dress. What did you love about it when you bought it? something made you buy it
  23. We are marrying in January, we sent our invites out mid May. I didn't do a STD. Mid May gave them about 2 months to put down their deposit.
  24. I ordered medium and honestly they are fine!! Also I did multicolored. I love them. The yellow is a little thin for paint so they don't look as nice (look like they need another coat) but are still good! If I had a do over I may ask for multicolor minus yellow (apparently they are accommodating). Thankfully of my 50 I only got 10 yellow. Also they will all vary in size and shape but that makes them look so authentic! Pics if you can see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
