  1. Ok, I have to be honest -- I have no idea what BHLDN stands for. Ugh, this is a tough decision because they are ALL awesome. Really, I love them all Since the first one will be a replica and you haven't tried it on, I would probably lean to #2 or #3. I have a hard time with items I haven't been able to try on or I am unsure exactly how they will turn out. I would hate for you not to like it and waste $$$. The remaining choices are both fantastic. Since #2 is cheaper, maybe go for that one? I think the blush color would look fantastic on you and it gives you an opportunity to try something different, color wise. I also think the contrast in color with the 'cover up' would be pretty. It's also a solid material (for lack of better word), so with the print/pattern in the cover up they won't clash. Dress #3 has a print and the coverup has a print which aren't the same, so wondering how well they would go together? (am I making sense here?? haha) Let us know which one you choose!
  2. Hugs We've all been thru the complaints and the drama. People you'd never thought it would come from in a million years. I've shed many tears! What the ladies will all tell you is that it's your day and you need to do what's best for you and fiancé. What you want for your wedding. At the end of the day it's for you two to marry and that's all that matters. You will never ever please everyone! Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I am in Canada so my guests had to pay $200 to hold their spot, then later on they had to pay for the remainder. Yup some have 3 dates but I combined two. I had RSVP be the same as the deposit deadline. Both July 17. Then payment deadline is Oct 17 (next week!!). Where do you live? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I'd do 4-5 at a minimum. But I'm a huge planner if the trip is due 45 days in advance when are deposits due or do they not have to hold their price/spot? Waiting until 2 months out would be stressful. If you buy online there is shipping, etc! Also if way more people come than you imagined you may have to save more (haha that happened to us!). Just stuff like that. I'm glad I had numbers earlier because I got so much done/purchased and now I keep thinking of stuff I missed and/or now want to do! Spreads the cost out. Good luck. 5. Time to show us your planning journal hehe!
  6. Anything at the bridal store is crazy overpriced! I can only imagine what it costs. We had another girl on here order something from Singapore, she paid for upgraded shipping and honestly had it in less than an a week ha! so I am curious to see what they tell you!
  7. Honestly, I didn't know people actually got the MOH different and/or larger bouquets than the BMs. It's not something I, personally, would worry about. People may glance at their flowers, but they are not a focal point at all I would think. If you wanted yours to stand out more then I would do blue, yellow, and white for you. I would get them yellow and white, but I would get the entire bridal party the same bouquet and size. Less stress for you -- ie less choices to make!
  8. Those are great cake toppers and super cheap! I returned my 'B' as I really love the 'best day ever' ones and am about to purchase one... I may check these ones out first hehe but who knows how long to ship to Canada from Turkey lol
  9. Air Canada Vacations charges $25 for the second bag. If you are in first class and get the 2 free bags, the 3rd one is well over $200 (as is a 3rd one if you are regular class).
  10. Me too. Was trying to use it somewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Depends if you mean booking deadline as in with the resort and/or airline or if you mean RSVP with you? My airline dictated my booking deadline date and I made it the same as my RSVP for ease. The later you make your RSVP date the later you know your numbers for favors, seating, budget, etc. I made mine July 17 for my Jan 21 wedding. If people needed longer we gave them to Oct 1 ish. Edit - I am in Canada and things work a bit different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. To be honest, I already weighed what my tumblers are with goodies inside, then times it by 48 and they can all go in one suitcase and only hit 25lbs! ha! For me it will be carry on that will be hard to meet regulations. I may have to ask around and see if any of our guests aren't using one so we can have theirs! I am not worried about checked bags as we get 6 included, then extra is $25 which isn't that hard to swallow. Good luck!!!
  13. Who's your airline? Air Canada has some closets but some don't. But the dress isn't considered a carry on which is nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Each airline is different. I know my carrier has some planes with a closet others you have to use the overhead bun. Worth checking out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I know cerveza! Haha @@TinkerSofi that's exactly why we aren't doing vows. Way to shy for that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. LOL! I travel a lot so I knew what she meant due to regulations. Also worth a read on Mexico's site so no surprises I did for how much we can bring in. Should re read it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I like the idea of doing it in Spanish but for your written vows do them in Spanish then you translate them to English yourself right after Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. We just have way to many favors and decor to get them all in carry on so I'm checking them. It won't ruin my wedding if they don't make it but yes it would suck! In my carry on I'm bringing my dress, all my families wedding attire, all my wedding day jewelry, under clothes, etc. All our gifts needed for wedding attire (ie all bridesmaids gifts as it's their accessories), any Breakables, swim suits, rings, camera, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. So funny everyone's experience. I've never had a problem with Sunwing and actually prefer them. I've had problems with all other airlines. I wish we could have used Sunwing for our wedding but air Canada was the cheapest. Like you a cheaper price was never found so all booked with us Edit; to be honest I've never really had major problems with any airline. Just the basics that everyone has with every airline. 20. She was talking about carry on. Sunscreen and aloe if over approx 1oz have to be in checked bags. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I travel on every flight I take with snacks and no one has confiscated anything. Maybe go on Mexico's immigration website to ensure what you do bring isn't a banned product, but basic things like the OP listed should be more than fine.
