I think this time frame is realistic but if it's busy season it may take longer. I bet that's the issue right now. My photos done at home took about 2 weeks but he wasn't doing shoots everyday. My photographer will have my photos available to view within a few days. She can't promise mine will be done and edited before I leave though. I'll pick theOnes I want in my photo book hopefully before I leave though! She did request we all remove our wrist bands though lol apparently they are a pain to edit out!!! I'm not sure with respect to companies willing to match a designers swatch but I think it may be worth asking your manufacturer or the store you purchased from if they have a men's store that they work with. Hugs! First off, you are NOT a spoiled brat. You are reacting to the situation the way any normal person would!!!!! You have a wedding planned, you have paid to hold your wedding spot, to vacation there, and you have family who has also invested time and money to be there --- you should be pissed and upset and angry..... Thankfully your family in Jamaica is able to run around and sort out some details for you. Hopefully that will put your mind at ease some. Have you tried to contact the resort? The airline? (I don't know how your packages work from Ireland - do you book everything separately?) I would certainly be seeking out some recourse! Your day will still be beautiful and magical and special no matter where it is held. I know that is hard to see now, but you will be with your fiance, your friends, and your family. Your marriage will be beautiful. Hang in there... please keep us posted.

Welcome, I did a quick search on the Westin resort you mentioned above and noone has reviewed this resort. It doesn't seem many people have even posted about it - so not sure how to help you there. Otherwise I agree about searching the resorts you are considering because there are threads on them and you will learn sooooo much from past brides. Also the board here in general will give you a lot of ideas for your wedding. Congrats!

Thanks! I actually pushed my ceremony forward from 330pm to 300pm because I was worried we would start late and we wouldn't have enough time in the light for pics! The big thing I am struggling with right now is the timing of the night -- I wanted to enjoy a tiny bit of the mariachi, then have them do cocktail hour, but I think most people do mariachi with cocktail hour combined. So looking for opinions on that. I also thought cocktail hour could be in the palapa but it's on the beach? It's not a big deal, just assumed it would be in the palapa. Did you use the spa for hair and make up? Thanks!!!

Oh so jealous of you!! I worked in Post Partum right after I graduated.... but then when I became a single mom I was forced to work a day job -- so I found myself working in a maternity/women's health clinic. I have actually started applying for jobs with AHS again in Post Partum, so crossing my fingers.
