    First time I hear of them pamelas21! Have you received quotes from them? On a very exciting note, I have confirmed our wedding date! January 10th, 2015!! Very excited, but also having major anxiety. I haven't even sent out invitations and it's 8 months away. How long before hand did you girls send out invites? Did you send save the dates too?

    Dean Clarke by far. His work is beautiful! I haven't seen one picture I didn't like... Oh I hope he is within budget... But if he doesn't cover the vendor fee that will be a tough one for me. He hasn't sent me his rates yet. Who are you leaning towards?

    I'm just going to go out on a limb here and assume there is a charge for both. I don't think there is anything they don't charge extra for As far a photography goes I took your advice and emailed a few photographers that I like (checked out their websites before hand) They have all replied VERY quickly. Just a few options for those who are looking, I found all these photographers on FaceBook Dean Clarke Stacey Clarke Merrick Cousley Brian Nejedly Jamaica Wedding Photos Oh and you were right about the vendor fees. Most of them cover up to $350 of it!

    I am trying my best to go the simple and the least time consuming route (this is the whole reason we decided to have a destination wedding) I agree the resort photography packages are high and if I do have time I will look at using an outside vendor. I didn't think I would find someone that would cover the $450 resort fee. I'm hoping for a 4pm wedding so I wouldn't need a photographer for 9 hours. Probably looking at 6 hours at the very most. Pamelas21 have you received any information about on site hair and makeup? Or are you planning to have an outside vendor also?

    If I get the wedding date I've requested I will more than likely go with the resort photographer. The Royalton charges a $450 USD vendor fee to use an outside photographer. I just can't bring myself to pay that for just the vendor fee plus a photography package.

    Wow! 51 booked already! That's great! We are planning a small wedding immediate family and our closest friends. We have 30 on our invite list and are expecting 20 or so to book. I'm so excited. Choosing the resort was so stressful, I've spent the last 3 weeks searching forums, reading reviews etc. I really hope the Royalton has space for our wedding. Hoping to get a response today sometime. (We are also booking with Sunwing We are from Northern Ontario (just outside Sudbury). Do you mind sending me the information you received fm the resort? I believe I have most of it but I'm not positive. They sent me the wedding packages, and the list of "extras" including flowers and photography. Email is [email protected]
