I sent STDs a year to the day. The invites are going out 3 months before the wedding. The STDs were very simple, we getting married, the date, the location, and please STD. It worked out well for planning. My guests appreciated the advance notice.
I would not invite her. Just because she's going to be close to you in proximity doesn't mean that she is worthy of being a guest...she's a boss. Being at the wedding is different than an AHR...that's a nice gesture to invite to her to the AHR, and that's enough. Keep work and personal like separate, especially, if you are not really feeling her. It's your day! There should not be one person at your wedding who causes you to frown.....
I think you can get away with one invite. It's all in the layout and the wording. You have time on your side so if you start early it won't seem like such a huge project. Good luck!
Much to my chagrin, my local staples will not print on pearlescent paper. They did however suggest Fed-Ex Kinkos who has the machines to print on this type of paper. I will be going there this weekend.
