  1. @@misbosox will your bridal parties gift be their OOT bags or will you be giving them something else as well?
  2. congratulations on graduating and welcome you will absolutely love it on here! Everyone is so helpful
  3. Awesome thank you so much ladies! @@jackielemman I will defiantly look into them and hopefully they fix into my budget as well. It would be an amazing experience for everyone @@Mrsktobe I would love if you could send me your template I will PM you my email
  4. That's very smart, I hadn't thought of giving her half when we arrived. I'll have to add that to my plans
  5. Oh that sounds like a lot of fun. I'll need to look into a catamaran and the dance lessons. Would you mind sharing who you used for the catamaran? That's a great deal on the bags! Everywhere I've been looking cost a lot more then that. Where did you get your welcome book?
  6. @@rachelia160 They are amazing. They hold drinks cold for up to 12 hours and hot drinks up to 6 hours. I like the ones I have because they are like a mug so they have a handle. It's all a preference thing.
  7. Packing will be an issue either way I believe, I would let that decide 100% what tumblers you want. As for the stickers I'm leaving our names off just because I want them to use them after the wedding. This is a preference I have but I do think having the names on is super cute!
  8. @@rachelia160 Your probably right, the though had never crossed my mind until I found this site. And most of my guest have not left Canada so a Bubba with a nice note should be a nice suprise
  9. That's awesome. I'm currently working on my design to order from the same seller.
  10. I was wondering if there is anyone else that will not be going OOT bags? I was just thinking of buying them each a Bubba for their arrival and marca's for their wedding favor. If this considered cheap? Do you think my guest will be disappointed? I'm not sure that I can afford to do full OOT Bags but I still want my guest to know how grateful I am that they are attending. TIA
  11. Hey Everyone, just thought I'd share that Canadian Tire currently has Bubba's on sale in stores only for $5.99. We are going to pick some up for our guest. They are 60% off
  12. @@TheBHolders I personally love burlap. I think it can be used anywhere and everywhere. My sister got married inside a ballroom in october and we used burlap for her table runners and we made some flowers with it. It turned out amazing.
  13. Very nice You can go with lace but it can get expensive fast or you can go with the burlap which is cheaper. I think the burlap bring the flowers out more but thats just my opinion I am also using my bridal party flowers as well as some homemade flower balls. (Made from streamers). Other then that my tables will be bare.
  14. I didn't do save the dates. I felt like I didn't have time and they would be a waste of money in my situation. I called and informed everyone that we would be having a DW in July 2015. I told them I was shopping around for the best prices so I wasn't sure on dates. When I finally picked out a resort (this took me a few months) I put a hold on the rooms/flights and my guest had 90 days to put down their deposits. So I decided on going straight to invitations. I ended up making a boarding pass and passport invitation which included all the information my guest needed. . I then created a website and a Facebook group. This has been the best method of communication for me and my tech friends. I still do calls to others giving them updates and information. The Facebook group has allowed my guest to get to know each other a little before we leave for the wedding. Sorry I kinda rambled on, but of you have any more questions let me know Happy Planning!
  15. We are paying for our own. No one has offered to help and we never even considered asking. I figure if I want it, I save for it. Of course if they offered I wouldn't say no. The fact it's a destination wedding I am just happy people can afford to come and celebrate with us
  16. I know it's off topic but what is the normal amount to spend on your bridal party gifts? I've only been in one wedding (my sisters) and she made us home made quilts. I'm not that talented so I'm buying my gifts. I'm just not sure what is a exceptable amount.
  17. @@JennyZ As hard as it is you need to do what you want. I struggled with this in the beginning and I still have some days that I feel like I'm failing. However after talking numerous times with my Fiancés family I've just decided to let it go. It turns out that they had our wedding completely "planned" and anything we would have done different was wrong. So even if you change the date, if they are like my future inlaws they will find a reason that the new date won't work. As long as you and your fiancé are happy you will have the perfect day
