That sounds like a great price. I hope mine comes in close to that since I also want to do everything you are doing. I love my dress but I'm worried about bloating in Mexico so I think a tie up may be the best choice.

Wedding Website Question
Kayla88 replied to Surfingsara's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
I used mywedding.com simply because you can set it up with a password and it's not open to the whole world it's so easy to use! I have used weebly in the past and it's easy but not as user friendly as mywedding -

Eh! Canadian Fiancée Looking For Destination Tips!

Hi Hope! Welcome to the board. My best advice would be to contact a TA and let they send you all the best offers out there. That's what I did. -
Including Reception Traditions In Your Ahr?
Kayla88 replied to Jamaica2016's topic in At Home Reception (AHR)
I think if you want to do it go for it! If we were doing a dance type AHR we would defiantly be doing it all again. I think your guest will love that cause they will feel as if they are part of some of the bigger events that took place at the wedding. Remember for them it's like your reception We decided on a open house type thing so people will come and go as they wish so those won't work during ours .- 8 replies

They look awesome! Great job. I agree with a little more colour to make them pop, unless your theme is black & white then they are perfect

Hair Stylist - To Tip Or Not To Tip
Kayla88 replied to girlinthecity97's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I am also flying my hairstylist down, but I have a totally different scenario then you. ( She is my FI' best man's girlfriend, and he refused to go without her but they didn't have money afford both of them. Since my FI's family is not attending I could not, not let his best friend come because of money. So I decided to book her for our photographer since she loves taking pictures. So her trip will cover my photographs and what we would have tipped anyone we would have hired in Mexico) After we put down her deposit he contacted me and offered to do my hair and makeup as well as my wedding parties for free. So long story short in your situation I would not tip because her flight that you are paying would cover what I would consider a tip for doing the hair she is doing. However I will be tipping because we consider her our photographer ( which is paid for as the trip) and our hair/makeup stylist as well. I think this is a good way to look at it? Sorry I'm not sure if that will make sense to anyone. -
How To I Handle This Friend Situation
Kayla88 replied to jeffandrobyn's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
@@jeffandrobyn Sorry that your going through all of this. I really hope it all works out for you. It was very generous that you gave up your perk for her to come. Just my opinion, if she's been acting like this maybe it's best of she doesn't attend so you don't need to worry about her negativity on your special day Just my opinion -
Sunglasses For Oot Bags?
Kayla88 replied to TinkerSofi's topic in Wedding Registry, Wedding Gift Bags, and OOT bags
@@TinkerSofi Let me know how the convincing goes... My FI thinks that I should just buy a bulk of them and if people forget there's they can use ours.... Why do I ask him for his opinions again? Lol -
Everything will be perfect Kim you have put so much energy and time into your wedding that now it's time to sit back and relax. Don't worry about your single friend she will be fine, you have a big group of people so she will find someone to buddy up with and have a great time. The passport situation is crappy but out of your control. As for the crazy dreams, I think all us future brides have been having them, I think it's part of the progress. The other night i woke up and had to run to check on my dress. In my dream my father stepped on it and the whole bottom fell off, under the beaded part. So I got married in part of a dress and my white undies. I was mortified!

Any Other Simple Decor Brides Out There?
Kayla88 replied to Mrsktobe's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
@@Surfingsara They are surprisingly very easy. It took me a few tries ( I'm not artsy at all) but my mom and sister got it the first try. Even my non artsy bridesmaid got the hang of it and enjoyed it -
Any Other Simple Decor Brides Out There?
Kayla88 replied to Mrsktobe's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
@@Surfingsara I actually went a bit of a different route. Made my flowers from streamers instead of even looking for fake flowers. I'm not sure how to add pictures to my post? But if you would like to see them I will happily send you a picture -
Those are a great find! I wish I was closer to a target so I could go check for some.
