I am getting married at Secrets Wild Orchids in Jamaica and we have a few guest that opt to stay elsewhere to cut cost. I am not too happy about that because the day pass is $80 per guest. I was under the impression that they can pay their own day pass on the day of the wedding but the wedding coordinator informed me for accounting purpose I can pay for it in my wedding package or have the guest that opt to stay elsewhere complete a form at least two days before the wedding date to cover their day pass. I don't know if I should suck it up or cover half the cost for them. I figured since we are really asking folks to come on vacation with us while we wed and all the cost with flying and staying at the resort I was not planning to do a gift registry. Now I am definitely going to add one if I am covering so much folks day pass.
