    Hey ladies... We still haven't decided between T&C or Jamaica. I'm still flip flopping between the two. T&C is my #1 choice but it's really pricey ... I'm thinking maybe my partner and I should go to T&C for Xmas and check it out before our May wedding... I'm too much of a control freak to not know what I will be expecting

    Totally!!! The way I see it, I'm kinda hoping "certain" people complain enough about this being selfish or "expensive" just so they are the ones to turn my invitation down vs me not inviting them and me coming off like the bad guy

    Whoa! That's a lot!! I just have a maid of honor that's it... Mind you it's a smaller wedding .. I feel that if I asked one cousin, I would have to ask alllll my cousins so I just chose my closest friend who's been very involved in my relationship as my support system. Congrats!!

    Ooooh ok I just reading all of this stuff now, i'm so happy I joined this board because I am learning something new every time I log on lol!!! Okay so for the private wedding dinner, that is an extra cost to host your group? That makes sense. I'm more confused about the alcohol.

    I agree here. Getting away is hard and pricey enough that some people combine it ... As long as their friends don't interfere with your event then it should be ok. You are going to be so busy with your own thing that you won't even notice.

    I can't seem to narrow down an island/country/destination!! I've been to most of the Caribbean and the fact that we are not picky of where we will marry is actually making the decision harder since the possibilities are endless. So I've decided that maybe I should go with the easiest place to get married regarding laws regulations restrictions and requirements... Do you ladies know where would be the hardest place to get married versus the easiest place regarding requirements? If there is a similar thread to this one I apologize in advance
