  1. Tulum is definitely a great place to have a more romantic and personal feeling wedding. As a wedding planner I personally LOVE Akiin! In regards to hiring a wedding planner I definitely think for most brides it could be a big help, especially when dealing with another country. I personally don`t expect my brides to do a whole lot apart from sharing their dream with me and set up a payment plan so I can arrange the vendors, so I guess it really depends on who you are selecting and what they are offering. For a bride who already has a hectic schedule back home it could be a big plus. Back to Tulum though, Akiin is one of the best, great workers. Smaller weddings I would reccommend Hip Hotel as well, great food! If anyone ever has any questions or needs advice on Tulum I will be more than happy to help! Happy Planning! 2. Hi Jsparrow! I will say Barcelo could be a great option in the Riviera Maya. I can`t think of any place that is not accessible via wheelchair and there are parts of the beach that are not so heavy with sand that it would be easier to manuever a wheelchair. As well the beach there is amazing and because it is a small bay the water tends to be very calm most of the time which could also be plus if they would like to put the wheelchair in the water or just enjoy a calmer sea. There are even a few pools with a gentle slope entering the water easy to use for wheelchair bound guests. Let me know if you would like more information and I will be happy to help!! Happy planning!
  3. Congratulations!! I think either location would be very romantic for a wedding however I do agree with tracyannhoward when mentioning how many people would you like at your wedding. Mexico generally is a bit more accessible in terms flight time, cost for hotel stays as well for the wedding due to the lower cost of suppliers. What could be romantic is a wedding in Mexico and a Honeymoon in Hawaii, man talk about a few weeks of paradise! *sigh* If you decide to go with Mexico me and my team are always available to assist with any questions you may have, as well before your choice if you have any questions how things work down here I am more than happy to help.
