  1. coral and grey sound really nice. I can picture some chevron in there too.
  2. We have recently decided to have the cake right after the ceremony in conjunction with the cocktail hour. I have never been a big fan of the cake cutting portion of the evening. I feel like it's hard to catch people's attention at that point. Right after the ceremony the cake will definitely be welcomed and I think it would be a nice time to have it.
  3. I just crossed the 100 mark! getting closer. I have already sent out my invites so I guess I won't benefit from the templates. oh well.
  4. chivari chairs are so elegant. It is on my wish list. I should check my resort to see how much extra it would be.
  5. ahhhh amazing! are any of these items still available? I am interested in the 5 gold sequence table runners white umbrella LED lights extra ribbon and raffia
  6. This is absolutely amazing!!!!!! Your guests are going to love it! I just sent out my invites so I'm not ready to prep for this yet but when I am I will be looking to this for inspiration.
  7. @JennyZ That was such a great letter that you put together! I love it. So well organized and the message is clear. I hope you have an amazing wedding that things get cleared up on the FI's side. We have also experienced this and I was surprised at how upset i was. It's unfortunate that people pull away when you are about to get married. I don't get it.
  8. I would like to lose 60lbs for the wedding. I have already lost 12. I joined weighwatchers and I am working out about 5-6 a week. I'm super focused right now but finding it hard at time with the stress related to planning. I want to stress eat and I'm realizing things have to be different now. I'm super driven to do this as this is the time I really want to feel my best.
  9. That's an amazing first attempt! I would suggest the 12 gauge. If you are finding it hard to work with it would be a little easier with the 12. jewellery wire would work too- michaels and use your 40% off coupon! lol
  10. love this idea!! I love this idea!! I'm not sure if I'm crafty enough to make the card myself, but I love the idea of showing gratitude after the booking.

    Hand Fans

I love those board. I will have to check out Michaels. I have not see those silk fans at all.
  12. ugh, luckily with our agent if the prices drops we have a "one time price drop guarantee". So have been encouraging people to book with our TA. We have had a few people already comparing prices but luckily they have found that our price is actually the best. It's so frustrating and I feel for those who have had people go rogue on them. Obviously the perks of everyone booking through a TA are preferred. good luck to anyone and if anyone comes up with a new nice way to say..."don't go rogue" let me know. lol
  13. I agree. ONce you are there you will find even more décor than you can imagine. Since you will be buying in large quantities you could prob negotiate a better price as well. this is prob the best way to go!
  14. I found the alterations at david's bridal to be expensive but I think the convenience part of it might be worth it. When I tried my dress on they already gave me the estimate. The nice thing too is that they know the dresses well and the chances of them having done alternations on that style are high.
  15. Would they do that? I will be enlisting some of my bridesmaids to travel with our favours in their carry ons in order to spread out the items. I have never heard of customs taking anything out. I would keep a copy of your invite in the luggage and explain you are getting married at customs.
  16. all the best to the upcoming weddings!!! wishing you a beautiful wedding
  17. I have also thought about taking out some of the traditional elements of the wedding. For one thing, we only have until 11pm for our reception so we basically have 4 hours to eat and party. lol Maybe it's a good idea to write down what we must have and then try to figure out the plan from there.
