  1. @wafflesmom I love the idea of giving it to him before the ceremony. I love both ideas for tag messages... I think I like the 'spending every minute with you' ...more. It's such a nice idea. I do like the see you at 3pm idea too...ahh I'm torn for you too. I'm thinking of engraving a double infinity sign on the watch that says 'you and me'. aww. I'm getting emotional.
  2. @@snswedding2016 Awesome idea! that's so nice as a favour too. We are going to make another cd for guests in their welcome bag. I remembered recently that the hotel has those tvs were they have the dvd player on the side and you can play cds as well. We're gonna make a party mix to get them ready for the reception! We already have the logo for this. We included our wedding hashtag so they can also get used to seeing it. It's also on our tumblers.
  3. Our thank you letter & Besos In Paradise poolside mix The fiance is a music producer so of course he made a fun poolside/beach side mix to get everyone excited since we are about 2 months away from the big day! We bought the Sea horse cards at Target when they started the liquidations and the cds, labels and cd sleeves cost about $50 from staples. We thought this would be a nice touch for our guests and it also serves as a good work out cd to get beach body ready! xoxo
  4. @TinkerSofi I like the idea of a watch too, especially because he can wear it with his suit. He's been kind hinting about a watch he likes right now. I wanted to get him something even more thoughtful but maybe that's it. I made him a infinity pendant - maybe I should get him a silver chain so he can finally wear it too. He'd be so surprised. @IzzyDeee That's totally fun! What a nice idea.
  5. Hi ladies, I have been checking off a lot of things on my to-do list lately but one item that keeps coming up is the Grooms Gift the day of the wedding day. I am starting to write my letter to him but I'm trying to think of a fun gift. He loves, loves, loves watches so I'm thinking of going that route but I wanted to hear what you ladies are doing or have done. I know there are tons of threads but I wanted to hear more recent ideas and maybe inspire some of our newer brides out there! @@TinkerSofi @ @@calgarybride2015 @@Wafflesmom @@snswedding2016 @@beckys98
  6. Omg your tooth! that's enough to lose sleep over. wow. I mean, it makes for a great diet though... I would be so scared that I'd probably stick to liquids. lol I hope that your appointments comes through- that's too much stress for a bride that is travelling. I really love how you explained it, "it was just the paper" It's just the paper work that makes what we are going legal. We are not telling anyone that 's it's symbolic. It's really nobody's business and shouldn't change the way they see our wedding ceremony. It's a celebration and we are not having an AHR so this it it! I hope everything works out for you. Keep us posted on your tooth!
  7. I literally just printed your packing list! Thank you for sharing it! It's so exciting to see two brides approach their wedding dates! So exciting! I hope the next few days are super stress free for you!
  8. @kcole123 Congrats! We are doing the same things. Signing papers here and symbolically getting married in Mexico. My fiancé is really not a fan of the idea because he thinks it won't feel special because we are already "married" but I keep trying to explain that it will. I'm sort of at a loss for words to try to explain this to him and I can't wait to get your perspective of things. We get married on June 20th and I have already had nightmares. One that my dress just doesn't fit the day of the wedding, another that I lost my dress and another one that I cut my hair mega short on one side and ruined my hair. lol ahh. I'm sending you so many great vibes so that you can enjoy your wedding week
  9. @@calgarybride2015 how fun! Let me know what your friend thinks of the wedding at the Princess! @@moonpalacebride2be Thank you so much for your lovely compliments! We are just getting ready to mail out the CDs today so I will take a pic so you guys can see the fun cd label we made.
  10. It looks great !! Where did he get the suit? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. @IzzyDeee no way! wow. I should maybe write my wedding date on the subject line so she wakes up a little. lol
  12. @IzzyDeee oh wow, there is no way I would be able to be in contact with her 3 times a week. I wrote her an email and I get a response about 1-2 weeks later. It's a slow process for us, but I was warned it would be like that.
  13. @@TinkerSofi True. They charge a lower price for the children so I should probably ask about the details.
  14. Aww happy 4 year anniversary! It's totally important to step away from the planning sometimes. Congrats guys!
  15. wow, I never even thought about a kids menu. I don't even know if they offer a kids menu. They have kids pricing for our dinner so many they do? oh man
  16. Weekend To Do List 1. Write out Thank you cards to all guests attending and remind them to pay balance 2. Print CD labels of our music mix for all guests 3. Burn CDs for music mix 4. Get envelops and label them to send out to guests by Monday April 6, 2015 5. Pick up Wedding dress 6. Design Flower crown for flower girl. 7. Pick up more tumblers dollar tree/dollarama 8. Make Groom make an appointment for Suit. 9. Print off Hotel wedding package info and fill out 10. Finalize dj /music/ entertainment for wedding Oh man, I need to stop here. It sounds like a lot already. I would feel so much better if all of this was done this weekend though!
  17. My wedding is June 20th and I know that everything will fall into place but there are a few things that are still up in the air like getting info from our WC about the DJ or music rental equipment. Everything takes forever to hear back. I'm totally patient but I also want to feel like I'm finalizing things. I feel like I need a book to write down the things I've done and finalize because I might forget. I've seen a lot of advice given about starting to pack early which is smart and I someone suggested starting to organize papers, receipts and emails so that you have them organized for when you meet with you WC and also for your own peace of mind.
  18. Thanks for all the support ladies! I am happy to say that the doctor said that I'm healing nicely and I can start working out as of Monday! ))
  19. @MrsCtoB awww I'm so happy to hear. I'm finding I'm using it more as the date comes closer. by the way, ummm, I love your dress. So pretty. LIke it fit you like a glove. I love it. I wish I had found something similar. It's sooo pretty!!
  20. @TinkerSofi What a reunion! 4 years. I will be seeing some of my family that I haven't seen in over 7 years. I'm very excited. My fiancé hasn't seen some of his family in 15 years so it's going to be quite the reunion. You are right, keeping things on the resort is prob the easiest as well. They have very nice fire shows at night so we could even get a copy of the entertainment schedule and plan to have everyone meet up at night if they are feeling up to it.
  21. @@MrsCtoB Great advice!!! I am going to start packing soon and I love the idea of organizing all the paper work. I should start doing that now. I think I was the bride that inspired your post-it wall. I love taking them off too!!!! Sometimes I keep them off to the side just to remember what I already did do. I'm a visual person too and it has helped out immensely.
  22. I will have to sign up! This is so great. I love my fitbit - wear it every day.
