    This is a wonderful idea. We are going to do the unity candle for us and then also do the sand ceremony for uniting our family, we each have kids from a previous relationship and one child together. So we want to symbolically link everyone together.

    We are having a bridal party, but like you guys not sure about decor, I did choose a colour palate for our invites and such. I am a little A type when planning.

    Hmmmm, you've now just given me something else to think about. I am including some swimsuit rinse, that I've made. So maybe I will look into the dishwashing soap.

    HI Jeffandrobyn I am aware that it does take some time to work out any kinks, my wedding is a full year after the opening. I wasn't aware of the levels of the Hyatt, but thanks, I'm going to look into it now. I do know that the all inclusive part is run (?) by Playa resorts. The other Hyatt's seem to have great reviews.

    Mine do, but I've had time to do some research and when I was on the Magnetstreet.com website they had exactly what I wanted for our Jamaican wedding. The suite of invites, std, rsvp's and such were called "Jamaica". Made it very easy.

    HI I am new here and I am planning an Oct 2015 wedding at the Hyatt Ziva Rose and the hotel doesn't eve open till November of this year. Hopefully it gets rave reviews on Tripadvisor. I am so nervous, but I know that the Hyatt has a good reputation.

    I started with budget as well and the looked at the resorts in Jamaica, because we knew that is where we wanted to be married.

    I am an October 2015 bride and I started planning back in Jan of this year. We still haven't pinned down our hotel because we want a specific one that isn't opening till November of this year. Fingers crossed this all goes well.

    We are doing a "meet us in Jamaica" type magnet. once I figure out how to upload, I will share.

    That's so true, about rinsing them out. I think I'm going to go for the insulated cups, that way they have lids and less likely to spill. I saw a post where the ladies were talking about clear cups with waterproof stickers on them so that the guests can use the cups when they get home. Might look into that.

    @@kmk2016 I was thinking about them using the bottles for drinks on the resort instead of the small resort cups. I love my bubba when I go to resorts, but I cannot afford bubba's for everyone (only my bridal party is getting bubba's) so I was looking for another option for the rest of the guests.

    Thanks @helenk We are going down for the Labour day weekend to do a couple of site visits. We are looking at the Royalton and the Iberostar and another one that is being built right now called the Hyatt Ziva Rose. My fist choice is the Hyatt, I don't know why but I REALLY REALLY want to be married there. we'll see how it goes.
