I cant view PDFs yet so I can't comment on the dresses working at 150 posts. I went dress shopping alone and it was amazing, no opinions only my own went to 3 places till I found the dress. I had something in mind and everything that looked good somehow didn't look good on me.

@samathaC sorry to hear about everyone backing out, quite annoying we had the same issue with 2 of my bridesmaids getting pregnant, I can't get mad but I am disappointed. My mom only wanted to come for wedding and leave and has been trying to talk us out of a destination every time I speak with her , makes me want to scream and tell her not to bother coming. I am expecting the worst when it comes to final payment time but I agree with your last paragraph it's about us and me walking towards him and as long as we have each other and our daughter that's all We need. @@SamanthaC I am getting my bridesmaid dresses off etsy as well almost the same style and my wedding colour is mint as well !! I am nervous ordering them online but they are perfect and affordable and the reviews are good so I am going to take the risk. Have you ordered them yet? I have lots of things off etsy I want just wish shipping wasn't so much money sometimes but saves shopping around and not finding anything !! Wow that's amazing that you both stuck with it. They say destination weddings are suppose to be less stress but I disagree I think more stress then a at home wedding. Thanks for sharing

@@LeeanneMUA this is Canadian dollars. So 1700 is for her to come for the week and all accommodations. She is just like one of our guests. There is no fee for her to come as she is staying 7 days with us. So we would split the 1700 and pay for our own wedding package on top of that. Absolutely, think about it and check her out, I have sent her a email asking of she would be ok with this to be sure of anything else we should know about doing this. She is a real people person and I fell in love with her pictures and the brightness of her work and her personality topped it off. She has been in contact with me frequently helping me with any questions I have about the wedding and has even suggested colour pallets that I am using , she is doing more then my MOH lol Her website is very informative and u can get quotes for anything on there. Also u can call her and she will give u any info you need. This is taxes in. We have already used our discounted passengers on us and my fiancés sister as she is a single parent traveling with a child over 2 so has to pay almost full price. So 1860 divided by 2 $930 to fly her in plus starting package is $1500 for 8 hours of photography, this includes taxes. In Canadian dollars. Just wanted to clear that up before you decide

@@LeeanneMUA Not sure if you found a photographer yet or have decided to go with tlseege if so thats great. I am flying in a photographer from Kitchener Ontario from captured soul photography. If you haven't found anyone and like her work you could use her as well? and we could split the cost to fly her down from ontario? It's 1700 for her to fly from here plus her packages start at 1500 for 8 hours of photography. Just an idea if you were interested.

I only have one dress. I love my dress it's pretty light weight and I feel I paid a lot for it and I am only going to wear it once I'd like to get the most of it. I hope I don't regret this though and be really hot for dancing lol after reading these post maybe I should reconsider or at least have a back up.

We are getting married on our 3 year anniversary then having a symbolic ceremony in Mexico. We wanted to avoid the blood tests and having to wait 4 days to be married. We are even considering keeping our anniversary date the same as it's been significant to us for this long. I kinda like getting married here before cause I always wanted to get married just him and I at city hall but then I also wanted a real wedding , so now I get both !! We are keeping it low key tho just signing papers no saying "I do" we want to save that for when I walk down the isle.

My wedding is in 2015, I was planning on bringing , fabric for the ceremony location in my wedding colour, Mrs and Mr chair signs, sign for flower girl to hold walking down the isle, ring bearer box, palm tree guest book, cake topper and some flowers for the cake, some shells and beads for tables in wedding colour, mint napkins and some straws for the bar, and a sign to put in the sand at ceremony location. I would really like to personalize it more to us. Everything is so expensive when you don't have time to be creative.

Has anyone had any issues with them switching their wedding date? I am afraid to order anything with our wedding date on it in case this happens but I'd like to get some things out of the way, guest book,ring box ect. Thanks

Hi there , I sent out my save the dates a year in advance. That way they had plenty of time to book the time but not too early to forget about them. The magnets are really nice but expensive. They won't be able to forget that way but I have noticed everywhere i go I see our save the date on the fridge or pin boards. We did post card and there was not a place for a return address some people didn't get there save the date luckily they let us know so no one was forgotten. We are getting married in jan 2015 and everyone has put their deposit down (the deposit date it set by the travel agent) so I know who is coming and who isn't , they have also spoken with me. I now have to send invitations they say couple months before I am trying to send them before final payment is due so they can reply by the same date as the final payment is due so there isn't so many dates to remember. The invitations seem silly now as I know who is coming and who isn't all the travel information was on the save the date so seems redundant. I am providing welcome letters with all the wedding info and times so they don't need the invitation for that. If I had my time back I prob would have sent out invitations and no save the dates, people usually know right away by deposit time if they are coming or not. And if they decide last minute I will be notified by my travel agent. Anyways hope that helps, engagement picture in Mexico sounds great, fitting I think to the occasion

I also sent out save the dates to give everyone lots of time to decide but now I know who is coming and who isn't because they have spoken with me, so now I have to send out invitations to people that already said they were not coming or that I already know are coming , seems silly. In hind sight if would have just sent out an invitation and skipped the entire save the date. Congrats to you all !!!

We plan on doing a welcome letter and including a couple events we would like our guests to be apart of if they choose. We are not including our time we want alone as that may come across as rude, they have flown far and paid lots to be at our wedding. If we do run into people I am sure they will understand the alone time we have planned that day and honour it. The resort is really big I don't think running into your guests will be an issue. We went to a destination wedding last May and finding everyone was impossible. Having everyone's room number will definitely help.
