I know. I think I am going to wear it up cause of the wind, id love to do half up and curly but I have such straight hair it will be out in 5 min in the wind, and depending what time of year your getting married might be better up with the heat !

Yes, pretty much obligation she SHOULD be my MOH because she is like a sister to me. Even though I knew she would be terrible at it, I thought that maybe it being my wedding she may have put in a little effort asking her to step down would defiantly cause some issues and make everything uncomfortable. So it's my fault for asking her and expecting more from her but I felt it wasn't right to ask another person cause they would be better at it. When we do talk wedding stuff she says "we will" do this and that but she isn't doing anything it's all me but she makes it sound like she is involved. I don't know maybe I should at least confront the issue and how I feel. Maybe she will chose to step down.

Has anyone received the 2015 prices? I contacted both the wedding coordinator and the main booking lady and both haven't gotten back to me :/ They were suppose to send me them when they were available in march.

My MOH isn't doing anything a MOH is suppose to do. I know she is not really a people person and isn't into the wedding thing but she could at least try!! I have so far planned my own bachelorette and put the deposit down, I have tried on my own bridesmaid dresses, I have gone dress shopping alone, (I kinda didn't mind that in the end) but she cancelled last minute on me. I have messaged her about wedding related things and she either doesn't get back to me or sounds like the could care less. So I am now not even bothering including her with anything at this point I am just doing it myself. We are more of sisters then best friends at this point in our lives we were best friends in high school and I moved in with her and her family and lived there for 10 years I see her at every family gathering. It's just disappointing, another bridesmaid has stepped up for the bachelorette and has been there to help out when ever I mention anything wedding related so that's nice. I don't want to say anything cause I know how she is and I knew this when I picked her but I felt like being almost my sister I couldn't ask anyone else. Glad I am not the only one having MOH issues. And to top it off my fiancé has the best best man ever who is so organized and a people person has organized a surprise bachelor party ect I am happy for him don't get me wrong but makes me feel a bit worse. Lol

Our final payments are due on October 15, so making the RSVP on the formal invites the same. To Prevent too many dates to remember. So should I send invites out 4 months before October or the actual wedding date ? I was thinking the end of August. Then people won't forget with all the summer fun going on and be more organized. Really I know who is coming and who isn't already.....

I agree not really a good representation of how it will look. It's the same with bathing suits. I am ordering bathing suits from Victoria secret and every girl wearing them are tooth picks, that's not how I will look wearing it. I personally don't struggle with weight but I just had a baby and would like to tone up a bunch before the wedding. My fiancé has gained much more and I am trying to motivate us both to help each other but he isn't into it much. I will keep trying though. @@diadiamond I think it's great how much success you have had in the past, you defiantly have the motivation, it's tough when you end up back where you started. If you did it then you can do it now! I am a believer of the old fashion way eating well and tons of exercise but that's all I have ever needed. I do hear curves is really good from some friends who have lost tons of weight. I just keep thinking how beautiful I want to feel in my dress and on the beach and it's keeping me motivated

Ya I haven't thought much about what I would do in this circumstance. I know my mom has a totally different style then me but also knows what I like so I think she is trying to plan accordingly. My FI mother asked me what she should wear and I didn't really give her much direction, was thinking what ever she wants really..... She knows the wedding colours so hopefully will choose wisely. But maybe I should have given more guidance lol. Just remember either way it's going to be an amazing day no matter what they wear and yes I agree you will look back and possibly laugh at it one day

I did beach bags, with gold haviana flop flops, I was going to just fill beach bag with useful things for vacation and getting ready for wedding, magazine, tissue, lip glass, maybe an emergency kit. I wanted to contribute to their hair so everyone would get there hair done for our pictures....but it's so expensive and I don't want to put pressure in them to spend that kind of money if they can't afford to.... What is a couples kit?

I haven't decided on undergarments either :/ when I try my dress on to be fitted I guess I'll decide then I know it comes with cups sewed in but extra cleavage would be nice. I am just finishing breast feeding so my boobs are gone so sad. As for under wear def Ms P...would be cute my fiancé would love them.

We have had a pretty good turn out so I can't complain, but some important people are not coming. And some people are angry We are doing destination and expect people to pay so much to travel and some people just can't afford it. Bottom line it's what my fiancé and I want, we are both travellers and always dreamed of going away. We did pick an affordable resort in hopes people could make it and I think that helped. Everyone who can't come are missing out on all the fun !!

We are bringing our own photographer and she is staying the week with us and since she is my guest we are not paying anything extra. I believe at our resort we don't have to pay as long as they stay >5 days . I am not even mentioning us having a photographer thought in case.

I have decided to do the bridesmaid bouquets, you became my inspiration they had a sale this week at michaels for their summer flowers so it was cheap! my bouquet comes with my package so I don't have to worry about that. @ great pictures !!! I also like the white at the ceremony site, is this the white that is included in the packages? Seems like the couple had a private dinner in the pictures was this the BBQ buffet? Our wedding colour is also mint it was nice to see how it looks in pictures!!!

We had this same issue. I think it's rude to be honest , if someone is saving hundreds of dollars then ok I get it but some are going with another agent to save under 100 for a couple. Why not book with the group? We get a group rate based on how many people we have going. And we have a great rate cause we book as a group not many places will beat it. If I was invited to go with a group to a wedding I would book through their agent. It's just courtesy I think , some people obviously don't think there is a problem with it. Unfortunately, there is no good way to tell them, my agent suggested that it makes things easier once you get to the resort as the resort have our wedding booking and know now many people we have staying based on our tour operator and names of bride and groom. And it makes it less complicated once we get to the resort. Wether that's true I don't know but it was a way to encourage them to book with us.
