@@TinkerSofi - I have the same thought. It's like, I really like e-photos and it's nice to have some professional photos of the two of you AND I've seen couples re-use the photos for several things. BUT at the same time, I would like to save the money and splurge on a great wedding photog and do a trash the dress session. So many decisions!!!
@@DianaDT - a travel agent was a big help for me! Have you stayed at AM Resorts before? They have Dreams, Secrets, Now, and something else, anyway, they are gorgeous. Good luck!
@@Taniaandedward - Congrats on the engagement! One thing to consider is many resorts have an "up to" number of guests in their packages (we forgot about this), so you end up tacking a lot of costs on the end for larger parties.
Searching by resort reviews and then searching brides who booked at those resorts have really helped. Everyone on here is so nice and helpful! Happy planning
@@forevertogether - We are doing the same thing, only I am anxiously waiting for the confirmation email from the resort... AND THEN (since the wedding is still so far out) we have to wait to book our flight.
@@AyeWatSoon - First, thanks for the response! Second, have you chosen a photog yet? I've heard a lot about Dean Sanderson and of course a lot of reviews and beautiful photo posts by Del Sol.
We emailed our guests with an estimated quote for the flight, transportation, and room before we booked our location. Should we still send out save the dates followed by a formal invitation? Thanks!
@@forevertogether - That's such a great point about carrying on the dress! That kind of slipped my mind, maybe because I don't have my dress yet. Thanks for the suggestion
Gorgeous! I'm getting married @ Dreams Riviera Cancun next April. What was your experience with Adventure Photos and trash the dress? Any planning suggestions? Thanks!
In general, I am the ultimate-DIY-failure... does anyone have any experience with purchasing barefoot sandals online and how well they held up? Thanks!
