They really do, @@tygrrlily! I was unable to move my ceremony back to 4:30, so we are going to do a first look session for photos. At first, I was really bummed about it...but the more I think about it, it will be nice to have pictures of our expressions and to have time for just us before everything starts.

We decided to do an evite (I finally got the name right... I kept calling them e-invites haha) for the STD and we'll send out a paper invite by August. If Jake had it his way, he'd do paperless all around, but I am one of those sentimental people who love getting mail and holding on to certain things for scrapbooks. But, @@kellisbaby - I don't judge you for not doing them. I mean, think about it, what do we all do with invites after the fact? For the most part, they go in the trash.

HA! Girl, I only have our wedding date booked. We aren't able to our book room and airline until the end of May (from what I understand, they can't do it sooner than 11 mos out). When we decided to do a DW, we sent out emails and called people asking who would be able to attend and provided people with the estimated cost from our TA. So, as far as save the dates go, I think I am going to save some $$ by sending out an interactive email invitation (if that makes sense). By August, I would like to have the formal invitations in the mail. With that being said, my expectation is that everyone will book through our TA for the group rate and they can direct all of their questions at her. AND she said she would stay on top of people to RSVP in plenty of time so that I don't have to worry about it. Is your H2B involved a whole lot in your wedding planning? Mine just keeps saying, "whatever makes you happy, will make me happy." I wish he had a little more to say about it all, but he is such a guy...

@@lcwitek - I had the same issue, I think we are just going to "bite the bullet".... (sigh).. PS I feel like "small" destination weddings are a thing of the past... since I have been on this site, I hardly see anyone mention a guest list less than 50... Sooooo, just thinking out loud...resorts increase their "up to 25 guests" packages

@@kcole123 - we still have plenty of time too... I just need to keep that in mind. I can be very type "a" and if something doesn't go as planned or how I imagined it, I get disappointed and sort of "shut down".. I know, I'm a hot mess. lol

@@blkladylaw - is there a way to search ebay by sellers? I'd really like to see what they have to offer. I haven't found exactly what I am looking for yet.

@@kellisbaby - DB is one of my stops for shopping tomorrow... how was your experience? I've heard more often than not that they are so busy that it's hard to get the attention that you may have been hoping for...

@tygrrlily - I have contacted 3 or 4 photogs for quotes and availability, but no one has offered to skype. I think I will request to do that if they can. @acw271011 - thanks for the advice! It seems like hours, shots, and receiving the final photos varies so much for photogs. I think I need to devote a few hours a week to do thorough research.

Are you traveling with all of this? I'm hesitant about DIY projects because I'm not sure how well it will travel, if things will get lost, etc....
