    @@nattiegams325 - We are doing the exact same thing!-We will recognize our "wedding" in Mexico, and likewise, celebrate our anniversary that day. And, yes, ours will be a secret, too. Our TA told us that it is less of a hassle to get legally married before or after the ceremony in Mexico. She also said the symbolic and civil ceremony look exactly the same, and you sign a certificate with either one. @@Shelleyq - I am doing something similar to @@nattiegams325. However, I did post on one of the other forums about wedding favors....are you guys doing them....or do the OOT bags count?? I just don't know...

    I think I am going to do the same, I've read that adding colored drapery can transfer onto your skin in the pictures? I guess that makes sense.

    @@nattiegams325 & @@Shelleyq - There is a "Frequently Asked Questions" section that reads, "Do my guests get to choose their own main course main course, for example meat or fish?" "Yes, this is possible to choose from two options, however you should provide us in advance the number of each option, including a seating chart with the names of the guest, table number, and dish. Don't forget to bring your placing cards, otherwise this will not be possible. If you need help with this, please contact our wedding coordinator, she will provide you with a seating guest list and seating form." I hope this helps!

    @@smileitseb - I think we are going to rent things because I don't want to fly a bunch of stuff there and back. My dress will be my carry on and I think the I'll have my fiance carry on some of our OOT items for the bags..

    Oh, I'm sorry! To avoid the hassle, we are actually going to "get married" at the courthouse right before we leave and have a "symbolic" ceremony in Mexico. Apparently, the civil and symbolic ceremonies look exactly the same and you still "sign" a wedding certificate. Just a thought... My fiance's family won't mind that we are doing this, but my family and friends would be really upset to find out that we asked them travel to another country for a ceremony, even though we were already married. SO, it's a big secret! shh! lol

    Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I am just early, but I am a 2015 Dreams Riviera Cancun bride and have hardly seen anyone post about weddings in 2015. Anyway, I may get a better response here since yall have had or are going to have your wedding this year. My questions is, when did you actually start discussing details with your WC? Also, what has your planning timeline been like, as far as purchasing OOT items, etc? Thanks so much! Tricia

    I've been told that shipping to Mexico is a difficult task because it takes forever to get there, and things get lost easily. I am still trying to figure out how I am going to pack out OOT stuff.

    @@mark82 - I'm not sure how it works in the UK, but I know that in the US, we must have it translated into English and then approved (or something like that)...
