@@calgarybride2015 - I got it at the Bay! It was $49 I think and the good Spanx were all like $80+. They actually let me buy them both, go home and try them on and then return the one that didn't work - but I made sure to return it the same day. I got differing responses about the return policy from the different sales ladies about the return policy for under garments. The brand of the one I got is Miraclesuit. I think a bustier would be good too, but I wanted to have the bra separate because my proportions are always imbalanced @@candle23 - Yes, I figured everyone would get to know each other so the wedding would be even more fun! Glad to hear your wedding was awesome

We're going to be there 5 days before the wedding too! We get there on a Sunday and are marrying on a Friday. The earliest we could have married was Wednesday, but we decided to put it closer to the weekend and we have some people coming in on Thursday for it. My plan is to cover up and not drink/eat TOO much before haha but we'll see how that works out. I'm trying to give myself some wiggle room in my dress in case of anything @@calgarybride2015 - I totally wish I had gotten a corset dress now too!! But I bought a waist cincher to wear underneath and that does help hold me in a bit . I tried Spanx too but they made me look bigger while the waist cincer kind of has the corset effect

Beautiful! Can't wait to hear the details. Congrats on being a Mrs -
Kim, your timeline looks fantastic!! I love it Thanks for the tip about writing on the maracas! I'm not sure if we're going to still write or not on them, but I'll keep it in mind if we do Do you have to pay extra for Publisher? I was hoping it came with my Office package, but it looks like you have to pay extra? Have an amazing Bachelorette!! And yes, def. go to VS and get something nice . Haha I had my bridal shower last weekend and 2 of my gfs gave me this hilarious black lace cut out teddy.... I pulled it out and it was this tiny scrap of material and I was like how do I even put this on??? Luckily it came with a gift receipt haha because I cannot imagine myself putting it on. Going to switch it for something slightly more demure (but still fun )

Wow, you've completed a lot!! Everything looks fantastic. You are really talented w/ the Publisher stuff - I can't wait to see how your wedding turns out I really like those stamps you made! What a great idea - I wish I had seen that before so I could have copied them I also really like your bookmarks and how you personalized them! I want to do something small personalized to each guest, but we'll see if I have time to put it together or not. You are pushing me to get moving... all of our OOT stuff is in random bags at our condo and my parent's house haha. My FI is freaking out at the mess and I"m like it's all for our wedding! Amazing that you got all of those meds for free And last comment, that must have been a crazy busy weekend w/ all of the parties and convocation, but you pulled it off and I'm sure your friends loved getting the OOT bags- 87 replies

Future Sis In Laws At Bachelorette Party?
tygrrlily replied to jeffandrobyn's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
My FI has no sisters, so I fortunately didn't have to do that. I did invite some of my fiance's friend's wives to be polite (and we have become friends), but I will admit I think I had a LOT more fun because they didn't come haha.. Not that I did anything at all and not that we aren't friendly, but I did enjoy being with my girifriends -
I think nudes or metallics would look good w/ mint. Do you care if their shoes match? I just told mine to wear any heel in nude or gold. 1 bought a new pair and 1 is wearing a pair she already has

To Invite Or Not To Invite?
tygrrlily replied to jeffandrobyn's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I'd probably invite her to make things not awkward, especially if it'd stand out if she didn't get invited. Is it likely she'll actually come? We actually invited everyone to our wedding in Mexico because we knew most people would say no. It covered the etiquette side of it though I think we invited about 100-120 and we have about 44 people coming -
@@acw271011 - Thank you! You should definitely still do the cups for your reneweal! Your guests will love it, and the price is fairly cheap Not at all - the robe is from Ubride on Etsy. I ordered the beige floral one in Medium https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/188808084/beige-kimono-wedding-robes-bride-and?ref=shop_home_feat_1 @@calgarybride2015 - I was worried about finding more but the sales attendant at Dollarama told me they're apparently stocked year round! Just a fyi in case anything happens . I broke a few straws dropping them (I'm a klutz) so the spares came in handy for parts

@@calgarybride2015 - Haha I wish! If I left it to him, the wedding would have absolutely nothing My MOH is the type of person that hates surprises and likes to know everything. She even wanted to know her gift haha. I don't mind because it'll be a surprise for everyone else and I could use the extra help! I will try to rope my FI into helping too

@@calgarybride2015 - Hmm okay - will definitely have to think about it. We're on almost the same timeline as you - landing in the early afternoon and welcome dinner that night at 7. I'm planning on assembling all my hangover kits in advance but packing everything separately, and doing a quick assembly of everything into the bags that afternoon.

Hello ladies! Back from our awesome week at Disney World. It wasn't relaxing at all (is Disney ever??) but we had a fantastic time and got to experience some new things - the Food and Wine festival at Epcot and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! We had a blast - especially at the Halloween party and we're planning on going next year around Christmas time . We wore "just engaged" buttons even though it's been a while, but we wanted to celebrate our engagement there and cast members there are so nice when you're celebrating something. Funny thing happened. We were waiting for the parade to start at Magic Kingdom when one of the photopass photographers came up to us and asked if we were brother and sister. We were like err no - engaged and pointed to our buttons. So he asked us if we wanted some great pictures and told us to put the video tape setting on our camera. He then led us to the street and told our whole section of the crowd that Anthony had something special to ask me. We realized what was happening here and we were both probably extremely red faced because we both hate being centre of attention. So Tony got down on one knee and proposed again to me . We were both dying and cracking up which is why we look so funny in the pictures - We said after if people watching us thought it was real, they'd probably think it was the most unromantic thing because we were both cracking up the whole time and he's even doing his flex shot in one of the pics haha. We got some great pics out of it and it's a really fun memory Here are some pics of our second "engagement" and us as Mario and Luigi at the halloween party w/ Pooh and friends in costume! My FI would be so embarassed if he knew I posted these haha - I'm not allowed to on FB On to my shopping! I ordered a ton of things and sent them to our hotel to take advantage of US prices and cheap shipping! This is probably my last big shopping haul before our wedding but I might do one more Buffalo run - we shall see All of our boxes and the pretty BHLDN packaging: My TTD and Church wedding dress - Jenny Yoo's Annabelle from BHLDN in blush. I'm pretty happy with the dress! I just need to get it hemmed and find a sash - thinking maybe a black one? Here it is with the BHLDN capelet. I like the capelet in it's on right but I'm not sure if it really works w/ this dress - not loving the colour contrast. What do you ladies think? This would be to cover my shoulders up in church and for some pics My Kate Spade wedding shoes! These were a success. They have a small heel which is perfect for me - didn't want to go too high for our wedding day You can see the shoes on in this pic below. I got this getting ready robe from etsy (uBride) a while ago but I finally got around to taking a pic of it. It might be one of my favourite purchases! Very nice silky cotton fabric and I love the way it photographs. Best of all, it was really cheap - cost me just $20 US + shipping A bit of stuff for my FI. We ordered his + groomsmen socks (his are a light pink and grey stripe, groomsmen are pink - Argylesocks.us), and his bow tie and pocket square (tiebar.com). My FI said he's going to have to google how to tie a bow tie . Here is our cake topper from Etsy (BetterOffWed). We love the song from Jack Johnson so we chose this phrase. It's very well made but it's a lot smaller than I expected... I also kind of wish I had ordered a glittery one. Ah well. It shipped really quickly and was packaged beautifully. Not sure if it's worht the price I paid for it (!) but at the time it was something I "had" to have and it was appeasing me after deciding the lollipop workshop one was too expensive Here are some miscellaneous things for our OOT bags, and a instax mini 8 camera in white and 60 shots of film. We're going to do a polaroid style guestbook! Here's our wedding album that I'm also going to use as a gift to my FI. We're huge Disney fans (see above) so I found this album on Etsy (SlightlyEmbellished) that makes a replica of the adventure book that Carl and Ellie had from Up! I'm going to do a mini scrapbook of pics of the 2 of us for the first half, then after the "Stuff We're Going to Do" heading we're going to use it as a wedding guestbook. I'm going to put it on a table with some washi tape and acid free pens for people to take pics, stick them in the book then write messages to us. I think my FI will like it a lot. I didn't want to spend a ton of money and I'm too camera shy to do a boudoir album Oh and here are our cups! I finally took the labels off, washed them and put the etsy stickers (Davetdesigns) on. Thanks to calgarybride2014 for the blow dryer tip! They came off no problem and super quick. Stuck them all in the dishwasher to wash them which probably wasn't the best idea as they're kind of cloudy now . Ah well. Going to add people's initials to the top w/ some vinyl alphabet stickers I got from Staples And lastly, this is something I'm hoping you ladies can advise me on! I've been designing our program fans using free templates I found online. Which do you think better suits our wedding? The first more romantic one or the second more modern/typography one? My FI likes the second because it's more fun and my mom the first because it's more elegant. I'm going to tie a black and white striped ribbon on the top of the craft stick Thanks ladies!

@@malyna - Haha yes definitely. I saw it at BHLDN and was dying to try it on! Prob a good thing I didn't since I already have my dress . If I was going to get a second dress, I'd want a big romantic skirt like that! -
Your OOT bags are amazing, and so generous! I think you guests will love all of the things you've included. You packaged everything so nicely Thank you for sharing your templates! Would you mind sharing your room key one? I am looking to do something exactly like that and I love the Spanish translations on the back

My Wedding Dress Adventures
tygrrlily replied to malyna's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I love that 3rd blush one! Is that the Watters bustier and skirt? Gorgeous! I think I personally like you better in cleaner and simpler lines because you are so petite! You just haven't found "the" dress yet! When you do, you'll just know. I had all of these runner ups to come back to, but it wasn't until I found my actual dress that I had nothing to say about it, if that makes sense
