I think that's why a lot of brides bring their own centrepieces and just supplement with smaller flower arrangements, esp. considering it's just for 1 night and guests can't even take them home at the end. How many room nights do you have booked? Are you getting the unlimited events?

Hmm does anyone know if the resort make up artists would be able to do makeup for the under water ttd? I'm booking an outside makeup artist for my actual wedding, but the costs are so high I don't want to pay that twice! Or maybe just sleep with my makeup on and do the shoot the next day?

I think Maya Floral has a facebook page too - maybe you can try contacting him through them. I think I'm going to go with him too, once I figure out what I want. It looks like there was a bit debate over whether there was a vendor fee or not associated with him. Apparently if he drops off in the lobby, it's fine, but for some of the centrepieces he may need to set them up? I think for the complimentary rose bouquet, you can request multicolour roses. I don't like the plain white/cream ones either, so I was going to ask for shades of pink. Also another option is getting the real touch silk bouquets. I'm seriously considering this because the quoted price from BP is ridiculously expensive I'd prob just get the sparklers here and bring them in my suitcase. I don't think you can carry them on, but it should be fine in your suitcase. Just remember to keep all of your receipts. @@Meandhim - We have! We got a good recommendation for an agent on this forum and switched. And to answer your question in the other thread, we're hoping to get married at teh Beach Palace in December 2014. Still finalizing all the dates and our group booking.

@@Meandhim - The excursion idea is great and if I were a guest, I'd really enjoy that. I looked into the idea too (catamaran tour), but it's still pretty pricey. Not sure what we're doing yet but I do love the idea of the OOT bags and maracas. I also want to have a fun white party welcome party on the beach to thank everyone for coming and have some type of awesome factor (cigar roller, fire dancers or something). But we'll see! All of this definitely adds up quickly

@@pddcmc - Yes! I'm definitely commenting on things I prob. wouldn't otherwise. I still think 150 posts is really high as a minimum, but I understand the reasoning behind it. I also think by the time you hit 150, you're so hooked to this forum that you keep on contributing anyway!

Good luck w/ the appointments! And if you're open to buying a sample or a used one online, you have a bit more flexibility w/ time. I ended up getting a sample and I already have it in my closet

Congrats! Speak to a TA immediately if you haven't done so already. They can often help coordinate w/ the hotels too Have you spoken to your family/friends yet? Are they okay with August 2014? I completely understand - I didn't want to wait either. So we're aiming for December 2014 Also, if you haven't started dress shopping yet you should do so immediately. Your time frame might be too short for some dresses and you might have to buy off the rack/sample or get a dress rushed Happy planning

Definitely bring a strapless bra (if you want to try on strapless) and underwear you're comfortable being seen in as the sales attendants get very close! And don't worry, you will definitely find it! You'll start to notice right off the bat you are drawn to certain styles of dresses, and then you just have to narrow it down. My best friend told me good advice - go with what you feel beautiful in and you can see yourself wanting to wear on your wedding day. I found that when I showed pics of some of my family and friends, they all had differing opinions. This was really confusing, and I decided to just go with what I was happiest with (even though some ppl thought I looked better in something else). You are the one wearing it at the end of the day, and it should make you feel fantastic
