Well girls. This is the first part of the sash made by moi. This was just a practice one as the smaller flowers will color match the big flower once I get the material or I may use the same material as the bigger flower. What do you think so far with my first attempt?

ok thanks. I just went on Google maps and it is over a 7.5 hour drive to get to Montana Shipping Outlet in Sweetgrass and it says they are only open 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 10 - 2. So I would have to leave really early to get there on a Saturday morning. Not sure if it's worth that now. If I lived closer than it would be awesome. Or maybe if I take a trip to Montana someday just for shopping I will keep that outlet in mind also if I am getting anything shipped at the time. Thanks so much for that recommendation.

Ok yeah that's a neat idea to fill the Bubba Keg's up. I think I should just go with the tumblers because I ended up ordering the totes anyway. But I will def. keep that outlet in mind and possibly if I need to order anything else to get it shipped there. question though. how do they actually work? like what do I need to do once I place an order online? use their address as the shipping address? I have no idea because I never even heard tell of that until I seen a couple people mention it on this site. @

I am not really close to the US border where I am in Alberta. I would have a pretty good drive ahead of me..lol Canadian Tire hey? hmmmm I will have to check that out too. I really like the Bubba kegs but the tumblers seem to be cheaper right now. I am heading into Edmonton tomorrow with the intention of getting some tumblers at Dollar Tree. So I have to make up my mind before then. oh @ what size did you order? I ordered 3" hoping this will be good enough?

NO lily, I didn't see that until after I noticed you mentioning it in one of the comments. I went back and I can't believe how I missed that. I ended up ordering them individually before I noticed. Oh well not much I can do about that now. But I still got them for a little bit less than what I expected. I didn't have intentions on getting bags. was going to just get the tumblers and give them to everyone as a wedding favor. and plus I have fans for the ceremony for everyone. I figure this is enough. now the bag is a little extra something. I really don't want to get anything else because it will add up quite a bit.

oh my lord This website is dangerous for the suggestions. I just ordered 2 bags one for mother of the groom and one for mother of the bride. Then I ordered 30 tote bags for guests just saying Punta Cana, Dominican Republic April 2015. It came to $207 and I saved $128. I hope 30 will be enough. haha oh well what's done is done now. All I am putting in them is the tumblers for the guests and the tote bags themselves for a wedding favor. Oh dear lord I just hate to miss out on sales. I didn't have intentions on the totes for everyone but the sale was like calling my name. Now I hope the tumblers fill them up...hahaha Are you giving totebags per room or per person?

Awesome. I didn't hear of that site but I am checking it out now. It's pretty cool because I am looking at getting tote bags for the bridal party. Is that who you are getting them for? I wanted Bubba mugs too but am thinking they will be quite a bit more money.

That's ok girl. It will all work out in the end I am sure. I have 30 guests with deposits, including my brother. I honestly know from what I seen on this website is to expect people to not be able to go either for last minute reasons. So even though 30 have deposits it still doesn't mean that 30 of them will go. I guess I will have to get favors and things based on who has booked already. Any last minute stuff that happens I will just have to deal with it then. I guess when you are planning a wedding, the whole planning process does not go perfect. It's the wedding that will be perfect. Everything else will just have to be dealt with as it comes.

I know the Dollar Trees in Edmonton have the different colored tumblers. I am heading there tomorrow because I want to get all clear ones. I may have to make a couple of trips back just in case they don't have 30 of them there. But if they have them in Edmonton they should have them in Toronto. Maybe?

HI, I had to go with a 2:00 ceremony too and really wanted the 4:00 time. So I had to chose 2:00 and quick because I didn't want that to be booked as well. We are getting married in Punta Cana though. Here is what I figured out Ceremony at 2:00 Cocktail hour from 3:00 - 4:00 (I may end up changing this to go from 2:30 - 4:00) Dinner on La Barcaza wedding boat from 5:00 - 8:00 Then after that I am letting everyone know we can go to the Fun Pub which is located on the resort. Just to dance, hang out, have some drinks etc.. I think the timing could work even though I wanted it later. But what I have could work too. You can slot in your times like that and have everything spanning out so that you don't have many gaps in between and people would still be on the go late at night. It will work don't worry. I stressed about that at first too but I said well this could work too. Make it happen girl and you will be happy with it in the end. Everyone will be happy, fed, and in celebration mode regardless.

Well my nephew has autism and is diabetic. He is already after having a seizure too before for unknown reasons, so she just doesn't feel right about taking him out of his comfort zone to bring him to a resort to be overwhelmed by people. Which I can understand but not saying it's not disappointing either.

People suck end of story....lol My brother messaged me today and said him and his wife are unsure if they can go. Her sister found out she was pregnant and that's who was watching my nephews. They don't feel right about bringing their kids to the resort which is understandable but still it is disappointing. I have been telling myself this morning since I found out "It is what it is."

Hey girls, Well I decided to take it upon myself to actually try to make my own sash. I am looking to have a flowered sash so I was googling how to make certain flowers. My next trip to Michael's I am going to pick up some supplies. I am not a DIY'er but I thought I would give it a go to avoid paying such a huge price on belts/sashes. I might end up having to pay for a belt already made if it doesn't go well. hahaha I will let you all know how it goes or if it goes at all.

Well girls I had my second weigh in tonight. Total weight loss in two weeks is 4.4 pounds.

Ok Thanks. Opinions is what I need. I have never heard of this website or have never seen it mentioned on this forum so I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were that have heard. Their prices seem to be very cheap though. Especially for those fans. I really don't want to pay a whole lot of money for raffia fans but I don't want them to get lost in the mail either...lol

On their website they are selling a set of 12 raffia fans for $12.98 which I thought was a good price considering some I have been looking at were a lot more. What do you girls think?

I love love love your dress. IT's gorgeous on you. I am so anxious to get a call saying mine is in. How long before you dress gets in or do you have it already. They told me 4-5 months and it's only been a month so far

@@MrsRoy you are not alone. When my FI and I got engaged, just weeks after that he was asked to be posted outside of the province (he is military). I am a big sook when it comes to my family and the thought of leaving them just about killed me. But I had to make a decision. Right now I am living all the way across the Country. We are from Newfoundland and he got posted in Alberta. It was a hard decision but a friend told me it's either stay where you are and miss out on great opportunities with a person that I would be foolish to let go or take a chance and be happy. She also said that all my friends and family have their own lives and it's time for me to make mine. I thought this was good advice. I miss home like constant but I know I made a good choice because I can't imagine my life without him. I have had my spurts of crying and overthinking many things that could go wrong with this wedding but I try to not dwell as much anymore. My FI says it is what it is and we can go with the flow. I get very nervous over the thoughts of having "all eyes on me" the day of the wedding. I am afraid I will end up being so nervous, probably crying as I am walking down the isle and then think of how silly I probably looked to everyone...lol I am a big softy and also very shy and don't do well with crowds and being the centre of attention. I figured a destination would help with this because it wouldn't be a huge wedding...lol right now there are 27 people booked. It's probably going to be like 30 odd people. That even makes me sick to my stomach thinking of that. getting in front of 30 people to me it's just as well as if it were 200...lol We will get through it I am sure

I was in Jamaica during hurricaine season. We actually went in late Sept/early Oct and we actually had a hurricaine while we were there. But don't worry because resorts know how to handle these situations. I was a little worried but they handled everything very well. There were weddings taking place that day and they just pushed them to another day. People there can accommodate for these things happening and they will have everything under control. Don't worry because you have no control over any of that anyway. Your date is booked now so just go with the flo. I am better at giving advice than taking it...lol I freak out and over think about things too. But my FI says to me that I freak out over things I have no control over. There is always something. I booked my wedding for April and regardless I know it's going to be way hotter than I would want on my wedding day in a dress with trying to keep makeup from running down my face. All these things that happen people tend to deal with it quite nicely and everything in the end ends up turning out perfect. I have stressed over a lot so far and I haven't even started...lol
