this is true @@puravida2015. When I booked mine like 4 months ago time slots were starting to fill up then.

Do you have a date decide for April 2015? I am getting married in Punta Cana, Dominican Replublic. I chose this because at the time I was looking the packages for all inclusives were pretty pricey? Have you looked into any resorts yet or pricing different places?

I just ordered a gift for Nathan for the wedding. I seen this today and thought he would absolutely love it. It is going to be custom made so what you see in the picture just gives you an idea of what I am getting. So the picture is obviously going to have me and Nathan and our dog Jessie. Nathan and I will be walking down the street and Jessie will be in between us walking. The background will be from a place back home in Newfoundland because we are both from there but we are both living in Alberta right now. I will also have him write "The Brien's" at the bottom of the picture. He will love that for sure. I am also going to get this framed for him before I give it to him. The pictures I have shown are just samples. Oh and this guy that is doing this for me also does posters for weddings if you wanted to have that as a signature poster for people to sign. He suggested maybe getting a matte put around it and having people sign on that instead of the actually picture. I thought that was an awesome idea as well. It's very cute. He also does save the dates and invitations and he can send them to you in file format to get printed. Just some ideas.

@@kmk2016 They had more of a cloth feel. They don't feel real to the touch. And thanks I love the colours all put together.

@@calgarybride2015 I paid just a little over $200 for them. I wanted them because they were cheaper than others I have priced but the issue is travelling with them, like you said.

worried about low attendance for our wedding
kcole123 replied to BethandBill's topic in Brides Roll Call
wow some of you girls are having a lot of people. I think I would freak out having that many..hahaha I had 32 people who had put down their deposits and in the last two days I had 2 people back out and said they won't be able to go. so now down to 30 and I can imagine before the final amount is due, there will be some more. Oh well less people the less money spent. I am a little disappointed though because out of my guests on my side I only have one friend going and she is maid of honour everyone else on my side are mostly family. I had invited a few friends and either people couldn't afford to go or had other reasons. I just can't help but feel disappointed in some people. -
Hey Girls, hahaha you are going to laugh but I changed my mind again. Feels like I do that a lot lately. But don't worry not too extreme. I still have orchids for my hair and I purchased these last night. They seemed a little smaller in the measurements by like half an inch or something. Here is a picture.

Tell them you chose to have a destination wedding to keep costs down. Having an at home reception will just add on extra costs. That's why I decided in not having the at home reception. People were disappointed but if they really wanted to be at the wedding they would go to the destination wedding. Also of them just accepted the fact that I am not going to have one at home. It defeats the purpose of us having a destination wedding in the first place. Since me and my fiancé are not fans of big crowds and having distant cousins there. So we eliminated that by doing the destination wedding and only invited people we were really close to. It's your big day do what you want with it. Everyone else will just have to go along with it or not go. Their choice...hahaha

Hey girls, My bouquets have arrived. They are beautiful and I love them. Here are a few pictures. I think she did a good job with trying to get them to look as coral looking as she could. Not bad for fake flowers hey?

Any Wedding Dress Regrets?

Wow that dress is stunning. That belt is gorgeous with that dress too. I am a big fan of blingy belts now? what is it you are second guessing about the dress. It fits you like a glove. -

Any Wedding Dress Regrets?
kcole123 replied to kcole123's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
Ok Girls, So I got a call on Friday from the Bridal House saying my dress had arrived. So then they asked when I wanted to "visit the dress." so of course I couldn't wait and wanted to head out and drive two hours to see it on Saturday. So I seen my dress, tried it on, and played around with the kind of belts I would want. At first I was so set on wanting a flowered belt just because I figured that would go nicer with the dress I chose. But when I was trying on flowered belts they just didn't look right with the dress. I ended up going with the blingy belt because soon as I tried a blingy one on I was instantly happy with the overall look of the dress. It made a real difference to how I looked at the dress. Guess it's true what they say, "what you envision is not what you will probably end up with." So yes of course I took some pictures and here is the latest picture of me in my dress with the belt. Alterations will be starting in January. Time is flying. -
@@calgarybride2015 @@MorganRene My fiancé is always after me to get him the PS4 too. I guess they think if we buy it for them then we can't complain if they play it all the time....lol
