Thanks @@marinah84 My best bet is probably to check the dollar stores for those before I order online. I want to avoid any shipping costs if at all possible. I don't want it to be overall expensive for sunglasses when I factor in shipping. So looks like a trip to the dollar store on my lunch break to see what they have.haha

I am going to try to tough it out too @@TinkerSofi. I want to get as many hours in as I can that day to feel like I didn't want that money. Haha Going to keep the second one for the trash the dress. I am hoping it won't be too blistering hot though on the boat for the reception.

Hey Girls, Took some convincing but my fiancé finally decided to do a trash the dress with me. So I am ordering a second dress just under $200. I think this dress is great for a trash the dress and also if I feel too warm in my other dress at the reception I just may change into this one. But I am holding off on that as I would like to stay in my original dress the whole day of the wedding because it wasn't cheap to just wear for a couple hours. My original dress for the wedding day is on pay 815 of this thread.

I will be arriving on Monday and getting married on Friday.

Yeah that's the way I look at it too. The more I pay before I go down there the less I have to worry about paying once there. Would rather have at least the photographer paid seeing how that is a big chunk.

Yeah $1000 is so crazy but we can book the photographer and videography for minimum three night stay at the hotel which, I was told, about $600. I would rather pay that than the $1000 for sure. Hey girls, So my fiancé I managed to get on board with the Video and trash the dress session. I am so excited about this. Because we are getting married April 17th, we decided to have the trash the dress on April 19th. This is to avoid being photographed while we have any nasty hangovers. I know when I asked Nathan he said two days after would be much better. Had a time convincing him to do this to begin with, so I don't want to drag him out of bed the next day with a hangover. Anyway I had already decided on a dress I am going with for the trash the dress and I bought it on Etsy for $200. As soon as I seen it I thought it would be perfect for this. Ordering online is tricky and it scares me a little but they want me to take all my measurements in order to customize it. I am going to wait another couple weeks before I do this because I am hoping to lose another 5 pounds. But I thought I would show you guys the dress anyway.

Hahah I did the opposite of you then. At the beginning I just did the planning, ordered things, and told him about it after. The only real thing, besides photography, that he complained about was the favours/bags for people. Everything I did he found out when I got something in the mail. Then he used to say whatever you want. But because the photography thing was a big part of the budget, I decided to mention it to him. And now he's dead set against it. Mmm I am wondering what would have happened if I had to of just keep doing as I was doing.

Hahaha good advice gals. I am soon giving up and just keeping what we got. No point in continuing to argue over it. And the sad face on me isn't working this time. Maybe once I give up he will give in. I actually sat back and watched a couple YouTube videos last night of wedding so have no idea of who the people are. But I wanted to see Pastor York perform a ceremony. Nathan come into the room and laughed and said "what are you watching others people's videos now?" Haha

Easier said than done. He says he really don't care for the video. So he said we can do trash the dress and leave out the video. He's not being easy at all. I should of just booked stuff and told him after. That's what I did with everything else and it was fine. He is looking at the overall cost of all the photography and videography and he's saying its way too much money. He thinks $200 is expensive for pictures for God sakes. @@tygrrlily

Hey @@tygrrlily Did you have a video done too? Me and Nathan are trying to come to a decision. He said well we can do trash the dress if you leave out the video. Men can be so tough sometimes.

I am the biggest wimp you will ever meet. Two things I am terrified of for the wedding. 1. Getting a Brazillian/Bikini wax 2. Crying like a sap and ruining makeup at the ceremony or before the ceremony or after the ceremony. I cry over everything. I wish there was a pill you could take so I wouldnt' be a sofie. And I must note, I am an ugly cryer and I don't want to see this in pictures. Yup that terrifies me to no end. I think about that I feel sick. @@Meandhim

Yeah I am sure any kind of a slip would help with that. Something thin but does the job.

Don't question your dress because it first you perfectly and looks awesome on you. It looks waaaaay better on you than the model. Once you get all done up you def. won't quesrion because you are going to look phenomenal in that dress. @@Meandhim

Is your dress posted on a thread? Let me know which one. I am sure I probably seen it when I went through hundreds one day but can't remember which one...lol

Hey Lily, @@tygrrlily I really love your trash the dress pictures at the cenote. How far away was that from the resort? Did your photographer include travel? Did you have a time frame of what you paid for the photo session and if so did this include the travel? I love those photos and if I did a trash the dress that would be a place I would like to go. There is one near Punta Cana but it's 40 minutes away from our resort.
