Hey @@acw271011 sorry for getting back to you so late. But the travel agency I used was Centre Holidays in Ontario. OMG I love those fans. Mine are similar but I sent them to my mom for her to bring with her. So I haven't seen them in person yet. I asked her to just pick up some coral and grey ribbon and dress it up however she liked...lol I also am not having any décor for my ceremony. I feel it would only be a waste of money when the ceremony isn't that long and it's going to be in the garden gazebo anyway. Keep up the good work you are dong wonderful.

Yay I am happy you started on your thread. Great read so far and can't wait to see more. I also had/have a nightmare of a travel agent. She was great at first but turned disorganized. A lot of my guests have complained to me about her. But being three months out and everyone is paid up, no point in changing her now to add more confusion. I should have insisted on someone else right from the beginning. I complained to her manager at one point but she seemed just as confused and disorganized. Hopefully everyone gets their flights when they are supposed to and nothing messes up with their flight times. Fingers crossed. Can't wait to read more of your thread. Keep going.

@@pddcmc I bought those fans online I think the website was Koyal Wholsale. I don't think they were my cheapest purchase and could have def. got them cheaper somewhere else I am sure. I ordered them and used my moms address to ship them to because she is bringing them down for me. Haha and she is picking up the ribbon and putting them on the handles for me just for a bit of color. Got to put other people to work too and it also saves me in bringing them down. Gotta share the love.

@@pddcmc hahaha I have thought about that before. Or we all meet up (just the brides for a girls trip) maybe to an all inclusive. That would be so cool. Yeah I live in a small town here in Alberta and they only have one justice of the peace here. So I contacted her in the last couple weeks and she only does certain times and certain days and she is going on holiday soon. So lucky I called when I did. Those tumblers will be the death of me yet. As for the stickers, I have no idea I just put them on and haven't looked at them since. (Maybe cause my fiancé would once again bring up the fact that it's a hassle having to lug and pay for those to bring to punta Cana with us. So I avoid bringing anything up when it comes to bringing things with us. I will just do the packing myself too so I won't have to listen to it hahaha.

@@pddcmc You are doing fine. Have you made any appointments for tanning/nails/hair/eyelash extensions/waxings etc. not sure what you are getting some, but making those appointments now would be a good idea just so they are made and out of the way. We are on the same timeline which is great. I have our marriage liscence and the appointment is booked with the officiant the week before we leave. I am glad that's decided on too. I am not on the ball most times I just don't know how long these things take for booking and what not and wanted to make sure it's all taken care of. You seem to be doing fine also with it. Oh I need parents gifts as well. I have no idea what do to there. Wouldn't even know where to start to look for gifts for the parents. Do I get one gift between one set of parents? Or buy four gifts, one for each? Any thoughts? Or suggestions on gifts?

hahaha just about an hour ago my Maid of Honor sent me a pic of her dress. It came in today and she was very excited. She actually ordered hers from some website that came from China. The colour isn't too far off, a little darker than the other's but it still looks great. She is really happy with it and almost no alterations have to be done just at the boob area she said. SO happy right now everyone has their dresses.
-
Dresses have arrived. Well my sister's anyway. I have the 2 girls wearing this exact colour just different styles and the other girl (Maid of Honor) possibly wearing a little different color. It's still coral she will be getting but maybe a little different because she didn't buy her dress in the same place. They are in different provinces so it was a little difficult to get exact coloring. But one that will be a little off I am not worried about. No big deal to me. This is my sister in the picture. She would hate me if she found out she is on here...hahaha I love the colour and have a feeling it's going to compliment the girls skin tones. My sister started tanning here so it looks really vibrant up against her skin.

Yeah it's the reception that's on the boat. That's a great idea Kim using the bouquets as centre pieces. You are just awesome. All I need is something to put them in. That will cut back a little for sure. Now I have to figure something out to put them in. Nathan said he doesn't want to see me with anything else to bring down hahaha. I feel we have too much now and those damn tumblers are going to take up the space. Any other suggestions Kim? This works out great. Why didn't I think of that. I have four BM bouquets and will have 4 tables. Works out great.

Hey girls. I just have a little update for you. I got the quote back from Carribean Celebrations. I thought it was a little expensive but Nathan refuses for us to being anything else down there. (He thinks the tumblers is crazy enough). Anyway I have 26 adults and 3 children. I will need four tables. So therefore I will need 4 floral centre pieces (small), 4 table clothes, napkins for everyone, and those lantern lighting things for around the boat. This quote came to $848.00 US. So with the exchange rate its close to $1000. I figured it would be this much actually. Buying or making centre pieces here is out of the question so I guess I am getting them with Carribean Celebrations. Centre pieces are always more expensive. Oh and I am also getting a table cloth for the cake table as well. I am trying to keep costs down as much as I can but it seems it's always tough to do that. Either make stuff here and pay for that and then pay for lugging it down there. Not including the hassle. Or pay the price and buy it down there. Either way it's all money.

Things are going good. I am trying to find ways now to make things a little cheaper and being wise in what I think I need for the wedding. I kind of went overboard with things at first and didn't shop around for best prices as much as I should have. I wanted a cocktail hour at first but am now thinking I shouldn't go with it just have everyone meet at a certain location after the ceremony. I find I shouldn't pay for booze at a cocktail hour when we are at an all inclusive resort anyway. I am not having any extra added decor for the ceremony. I think because we are having it at the garden gazebo, the garden will be decoration enough. Don't want to spend the extra money there. I went about this backwards. Now is when I am trying to save where I can. Should have done that in the beginning. -
