OH SNAP!! Thats so exciting!! Good for you jenna for taking every single bride on here's advice to just relax and trust that it will all work out! (i hope you're still around when I'm 13 days away from my wedding to remind me of that!) I saw those pictures too, so so beautiful ..makes me want to reconsider my colour choices! (coral and mint/turquoise..i know , corney that those are my colours and I'm going to ocean coral and turquesa BUT i took that as a sign that it was the right resort! haha) what colours are you doing @@aborgesbride? So happy for you!! I actually just came on here to let you know that i just called AGAIN as whoever it was that i spoke to on the phone on wed never did return my email…and to my surprise it was Ana that answered the phone, hooray!!!!! So i wanted to tell you two to call right now if you want to get something accomplished!! @@MrsSheppardToBe ana said that she will send a confirmation email tonight. fingers crossed!! So happy for you that things are falling into place!! keep me posted! Britt ps, what do you two have as ana's email. Im just a little nervous because she said she was in a meeting and I think she only got Chris' name written down but not mine and all of the emails are from me. Would love to send her a follow up email.

@aborgesbrode Thanks Jenna!! I just called and had a very painful (language barrier!!) conversation with a guy (maybe sergio??) He says that Vanessa is no longer with the company but apparently Ana is!! (which relived me even though my correspondence has been with vanessa…i guess i feel like if ana is there that the quality of weddings they hold will stay the same!!) He apparently can't find my emails to vanessa begging her to send me confirmation of our deposit + wedding date + location and he doesn't have access to ana's email so he's asked me to email him directly. This is the email that i got from him -(hoping I heard it right, i verified it with him three times!!) [email protected]. Ill keep you girls posted if/when i hear back!! oh my god!! I feel for you girls getting so close to your wedding! Chris and I sent our deposit off over 2 wks ago. Vanessa did get back to us 2 wks ago tonight saying that we forgot something on our form but we sent it back immediately and haven't heard anything since (despite sending more emails). We are awaiting confirmation from them before booking our trip, and the amount of time we have left to give a deposit on our trip is ticking and we need to get our save the dates ordered before our guests run out of time to put in their deposit! Its so hard to take everyones advice and stay calm…and my wedding is still so far away! lol. I have been looking around the internet for a number to call but haven't had any luck..do you girls have a number for the resort? @@aborgesbride can you give me serge's email? or ask your TA for the phone number that she used?? Thanks! Britt Chris just checked his CC statement and they processed our deposit last tues but no confirmation email or confirmation on our location..a little concerning..

Hi Amanda, I have read posts from a few brides back in 2013 who were planning 2014 weddings and were shocked to find the price change so drastic. All of the ladies emailed ana begging her to honour the previous year's prices. One bride was successful, but i believe her wedding was very early in the year (first few days of january) and the other wasn't entirely successful but I think that the were willing to work with her to lower some of the prices. In the end it does say at the bottom of all of the wedding package lists that "prices are subject to change without notice"…so they've got us there. The good news is that this resort's wedding prices are so much cheaper than may of the others!! We haven't booked yet but planning to book this week for april 2015 so ill be in the same boat as you! Jenna - where did you get your wedding website from? was it free? I can't seem to find it on google. HI Leslie, I hope that by now you've heard from ana or vanesa!! Do you have pictures of the rooftop terrace? There is so much mention of "terraces" at this resort. Ive got a handle on the lobby terrace, is the rooftop terrace the only other one? Also wondering who your wedding coordinator is? ALthough i havent booked yet vanesa has been emailing me.

Hey ladies!! Im brand new to the forum and have (after a couple of dedicated days) made it through the whole forum..phew! I have not yet booked my trip or wedding yet as I wanted to make sure id thoroughly researched the resort before booking. We are plannong for april 2015...sounds like you girls are so much closer to your big day than I am! So far my corispondance with vanesa has been not too bad but it makes me feel anxious just thinking about "locking down" the terrace for the day of our wedding. I guess I need to make sure of that the day I give my deposit! We are considering bringing our own photographer down from home... our travel agent has told us that commonly the "perks" you get with booking a group is that every 11th trip or 6th room or something like that will be free so the bride and groom usually go for free. However with the number of guests wer expcting i am anticipating having a few *extra* rooms for free, so were thinking of hiring a photographer here to travel down with us and give them the free room and the she can capture our weddding (and hopefully some other great moments too). I surprisingly havent heard anyone else mention this method on the 7 years of converstation on here... Anyways, i feel so overwhelmed by all the info ive read on here I dont even know what questions I have for you girls! So just wanted to say hi looking forward to hearing alll about your weddings!! britt
