I'm trying to think of something cute to say on our tags to tell everyone to use it for our send off @@phdtck1 i am absolutely kicking myself for not booking the 2 story room with the pool!!!! it was his job to book the honeymoon and i wasnt specific enough bc i just wanted it booked lol. but i think i can talk my fiance' into upgrading us re:kids.........we actually had the same issue which made us say no kids at all. my fiance' doesnt believe we can tell ppl who to bring on their vaca and i said ok fine but i CAN determine who comes to my wedding lol. the ones that made a big fuss about bringing their kids arent even coming now...go figure. re:rehearsal. originally she said we couldnt have our rehearsal saturday but i asked her again yesterday could we please have it saturday bc thats when everyone will for sure we there in time. i said we will even do it super early in the mroning and she made arrangements for us to have it at 10! but it will be good to get it on their calendar. i just found out theres a wedding the day before mine with 175 guests! okay i just emailed my wedding coordinator and my TA the promotion, i dont know if its too late or not but definitely worth a shot! i paid for about 75% of our wedding yesterday. i hope you can get the free welcome party. please let me know if it works for u!! the fact that your TA is helping you with where to club. i love my TA but she didnt do all that lol sounds like you have a great one! survival guide.docx just opened up your timeline, super super cute and creative i sent out a survival guide for our guests a couple weeks ago....this is about as creative as i get! true accountant lol

@@phdtck1 girl first, youre not gonna believe this, but we are honeymooning at the SAME resort. is this real life? lol love your website! i love how he proposed, so so sweet and i completely understand about the atlanta vs mexico wedding. 80+ will be so fun!!! we have no kids coming, do you, other than his son? and yes i tried to negotiate a welcome party :/ but maybe i went about it the wrong way, because i just talked to my wedding coordinator and she said no they cant give it to me. I definitely should have pushed harder or went directly to the resort. Did you negotiate a free one? If so, good for you! have you already scheduled your rehearsal? I always planned to have my rehearsal on Saturday but the gazebo was unavailable because I guess they were getting ready for other weddings etc. So we are having it Friday instead (not everyone will even be there yet but itll be okay) we have been trying to figure out where we are going friday night so im going to look into the club youre going to! our wedding weekend is also the mayweather fight weekend and thats what all my guests will be doing saturday night LOL bachelorette in NYC how fun is that?!!! love it!!

@@phdtck1 thats weird they havent responded. did you use this email [email protected] ? i think they are pretty timely in their responses. and thank you so much! i had a friend of mine design it in adobe illustrator then I sent the design to vista print. cut it myself then punched 2 holes in it and binded it with brads. it was NOT in our budget lol but i was determined to make it happen and it all cost me about $80 yes i sent out formal invitations -- passports for the invitiations and boarding pass RSVPs from weddingpassports.com i loves them so much! im sure you will love yours!! we have 4 on each side, well 3 on his bc his cousin isnt coming anymore. do you? how many guests will u be having again? 80? IM SO EXCITED LIKE I CANT EVEN FOCUS LOL. my friends and family keep talkign about it which makes me even more excited. have to finish a few things this weekend and pack and then ill feel ready! have u never been to mexico at all? or the resort? ive never been to the resort but i think it will be fine! are you having a welcome party or anything for your guests when they get there? we are on friday and then going out for one last hoorah

So I decided the multicolor were fine after seeing another DRC brides pic Going to add a message about shaking it on the back this weekend! @@yuniedo I used a TA and definitely recommend going that route! have u already booked a room block. you should prob do that asap if not because the resort sells out (esp of the cheaper rooms) A TA on this site referred me to my TA, who specializes in Dreams resorts. Her name is Teresa Stauring with Vacations4Less, shes been great

wedding in 10 days and the forecast is calling for rain my entire wedding weekend! trying not to freak out i know we have backup plans in case of rain but i want to get married where we planned and have the reception on the deck!!! i hope it changes.

@@yuniedo hey girl! Congrats on booking your date!!! The blank budget planner I have is really outdated and it actually had me misled for months because basically all the prices had changed and my budget was way off! Long story short--ask David for it and he should send it right over

@@Kerrierf nails are very very important to me!! I get gel/shellac every 2 weeks and am obsessed by it so definitely getting it for our wedding! it doesnt chip at all and doesnt ruin your nails like acryllic. I've chosen OPI Mod about You Pastel. Perfect perfect bridal color!

My menu: Salad Bar: pasta salad mixed greens with vegetables chicken caesar salad potato salad with scallions homemade bread and rolls seafood salad Hot Dish: cajun roasted potatoes creole pasta corn on the cob chicken breast stuffed with spinach seafood casserole Show Cooking: jamaican chicken cajun beef brochettes seafood paella BBQ pork ribs Dessert: coconut and rum cake brownies carrot cake apple strudel No I haven't heard anything specific about that food, I'm just going based on what I know I like. Re the maracas, I didn't have any payment issue actually, that was another bride. But they are being shipped to the resort and will be arriving the day I get there, so cant give a full review yet but im sure it will be fine!

@@phdtck1 i've spent enough money and i knew more than half my guests would never use the bags again so i got paper metallic bags!, adding tags to them but keeping it simple

@@phdtck1 yea i didnt need some of the extras that come with the ultimate package vs the love package so def look into it! clauditasolis is Claudia's instagram name but i found her by searching DRC hashtags on IG.....i literally try to find any and everything about weddings there!!! so anxious to see it all in person lol

@@phdtck1 sure! i got a lot of items from oriental trading, chair sashes and chargers from cvlinens....im renting most of my decor. i wanted fresh flowers. and yes, that picture is directly from one of DRC's wedding coordinators instagrams lol. they definitely have it and other options. they quoted me $240

@@phdtck1 yess i wanted a white robe with french white sleeves too but i think my time is running out. i was hoping i would get one at my bridal shower so I was holding out yea i think i paid ~$260 for 60 maracas.... i guess it depends on what you consider reasonable I'm bringing chargers because I believe DRC wanted to charge me $6 but I found them for $2. I'm also bringing chair sashes (DRC wanted to charge me $3) and mirrors to go under my centerpieces (dreams wanted to charge me $15 each)....i thought about bringing sequin table clothes but i just dont feel like lugging all that stuff. some things i am just biting the bullet to pay for convenience im not asking any of my wedding party to bring anything, but i get 2 free checked bags on delta to help with the cost and just gonna pay for the rest

@@phdtck1 yess for this dramatic veil! lol. where did you get that robe? i still need mine and thats pretty yes the welcome book is diy, i can post more pics when i get home! and ugh i really hope customs doesnt act crazy i have NO time for that!! gonna find as many receipts as possible which i hope wont be hard bc i ordered mostly everything online
