I will send you my email address @@desmiv Yes we have an MC to announce us and other things thru out the reception and for the question "For the sound system stuff, if you pay for using it during the ceremony do you have to pay a second fee for the cocktail hour/reception?"....my understanding based on the budget spreadsheet is that there are 2 separate fees

@@pddcmc I've been having nightmares too from the wrong colors to a hurricane coming to all our flights being cancelled smh it's consuming me! cermony music is coming along, as soon as i think ive found the PERFECT songs, my fiance' doesnt agree lol i'm very anxious for my coordinator to send the script because im sure im going to be doing some heavy editing

@@ChicVivi I'm not using a DJ! I figured I would be giving all my music selections to the DJ anyway because I'm not sure if I would have the same music taste as him. So hooking up a playlist!

so I have always said I'm getting the Dreams of Love package but now looking at the Dreams Ultimate package, I'm thinking I should go with that one instead. I could have sworn the DOL package came with open bar for the reception for 20 guests but now I'm not seeing that on the website. I will have to check my paperwork. But overall with the differences between the 2 packages, the Ultimate package seems like the better choice now. It's just weird I didn't feel that way when I reserved the wedding a year ago.

Wow I'm glad I found this thread, it's giving me good ideas. So far, I'm planning to get my bridesmaids: purple floral silk robes jewelry for the wedding personalized leather passport cover and luggage tags and a beach bag I am also thinking about massages but it just depends on my budget. I don't want to get them anything they will just disregard so I'm trying to plan carefully!! -

Any Brides Getting honeymooning seperately from DW location?

We are staying at our wedding resort from Thursday thru Monday (getting married Sunday) and then heading to our honeymoon resort Monday thru Saturday! This way we can truly relax and not feel like we have to entertain our guests for the rest of the week that are staying Has anyone honeymooned or planning to honeymoon at Secrets Maroma, Secrets at the Vine, or Secrets Silversands? We are trying to choose between the 3 of those! -

@@nattiegams325 I haven't gotten the updated budget spreadsheet I guess because the one I have says $150 for the external fee. I'm assuming I will get the updated one when the coordinator contacts me for the first time which I'm anxiously awaiting!!

@@acw271011 I got them from http://weddingpassports.com/ Dave and Vanessa are so great to work with and very patient!! I guess they were a little expensive but I really wanted them so I didn't mind the cost. For 60, they were $4.55 per passport and 0.75 per boarding pass. Then I got matching metallic purple envelopes from Paper and More. I LOVE them!! so worth it and it got my guests excited !

I really love our passport invitations, specifically how closely they resemble real passports and boarding passes! I've seen a lot of replicas but Vanessa and Daves Wedding Passports are truly the best. I am not a DIY girl by any means so they did it all from start to finish with lots of input from me on the design and details!

@@pddcmc I'm having the same issue about not feeling like I want to pressure people...They just got their invitations and have to have a 50% deposit in my 12/31 so I'm waiting til then to see if I need to send another reminder. But it's so hard because you dont want to rush people! Hopefully, everyone we are expecting will book soon!! I'm so anxious for the coordinator to contact me. I know the paperwork says 3 months prior to the wedding date but I thought I read on here that sometimes she contacts us earlier. Otherwise, I will see her next month at my site visit.
