    Do any of you know - if you have to be there for 3 days before the wedding regardless of ceremony type, if the day you land counts? If we were to land on a Tuesday, could we get married on Friday? Or would it have to be the Saturday? Thanks

    Does anyone know - regardless of ceremony, you have to be at the site 3 business days before to get married... Is that 3 full days? (If we flew in on a Tuesday, would we get married the Friday or Saturday?)... Have emailed but thought someone might know? Thanks!

    Hey! We're looking at the same timeline, leaving April 28th from Halifax... Our quotes for Air Transat on 5 resorts all came back between 1475 - 1650... But the biggest difference was timelines for final payment. Cheapest resort was due October 30/14 of this year, most expensive resort not due until February 28/15... That's a big difference! The other 2 that are in the 1500 range are due December 15th/14... Trying to narrow down between Paradisus Punta Cana/Now Larimar, but Dreams Punta Cana still hasn't left the list!

    Hey everyone! I'm in between this resort and Paradisus Punta Cana for the week of April 28/15! We will have a group of 50-60 people from Nova Scotia, CA... I keep going back and forth between these 2 resorts from day to day, but our quotes expire next week so we need to choose... How have your experiences been so far for those that have booked/or had their wedding? Planning on the Divine package. Thanks for any help! Dana

    Malibu99, I am wondering the exact same thing! Just posted in the 2014-2015 thread re. this topic and around decorations (how much could you actually bring down to save some $)... I am also looking for the full list of additional costs/extras? I can't find it on their website if anyone has it! We haven't booked yet, will within the week. But we've only received the booklet of different wedding locations... Thanks!

    Alright, getting a bit closer to a decision now! Does anyone have the list of additional costs like most resorts do? I assume we'd receive it once we book, but they only sent us through the booklet of all the locations... Specifically looking for the extra decorations and sound system... I'm wondering how much extra decor I could need in order to save some $ and thinking an ipod/dock/speakers may be the way to go...? Thanks! Dana

    Thanks for the info Soly29, the private reception is a major factor for me too... We're thinking the Chill Out Chic package. I'm a bit confused though for the 3 hour reception, where are you holding yours? I've seen some people mention outside, pool area and private converted area in the beach restaurant... And, is this when some others have hired a dj? I am hoping, didn't want to have to head to a disco! Thanks!
