    Hi All, Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I thought I would ask anyways. Is anyone planning on having a Stag and Doe party for their DW? It feels weird to me to have one, as we are already asking people to spend lots coming to the wedding. I would feel bad asking people to spend more money on us so we can pay for the wedding. Just looking for any thoughts on this! Thanks

    This was a great thread! I know we have debated how many to invite vs how many will actually show. As of right now our guest list is 80 but we only want 50 max to attend. We are allowing all the single people to have a +1, as we have some friends from university that won't know necessarily know everyone else invited and wanted to make them feel comfortable.

    Where are people having their AHR? We live in a different city than both our families (6 hours from mine, 3 from his), so where do we have the AHR? Or does it depend on who is hosting it? I'm not sure if people would travel 6+ hours just for a reception...

    Where did you get the image of the plane for the front? I'm having trouble finding a good quality image of a plane with the trail.

    I also don't necessarily like getting my picture taken, especially cheesy ones, so I doubt we will be getting engagement photos. We also have a few friends that are amateur photographers on the side so we will probably get a few photos done to include on our wedding website and in our invitations.

    I was wondering if anyone has an ideas or suggestions about using a travel agent or just looking at travel websites such as expedia etc? I think that having a travel agent would make my life easier, as I don't have to answer travel questions all the time. I feel like it would seem more secure for our guests, but if travel websites are just as easy to deal with that works for me too! We are in the very early stages of planning our wedding and are looking at Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana. Any advice would be appreciated!

    My Fiancé and I chose a destination wedding because: 1. We always envisioned a beach wedding 2.He has a large family and we wouldn't be able to invite everyone 3. We wanted to create a once in a lifetime atmosphere for everyone invited 4. Everyone gets a vacation as well as being with us on our special day
