    I would love to have a friend perform the ceremony. Maybe I'll do the paperwork here at Town Hall and just have a symbolic ceremony in DR. The last DW I attended was performed in Spanish and translated sentence by sentence to English by the WC. But because it was a legal ceremony and DR's official language is Spanish, the ceremony had to be done in Spanish by a Judge.

    @@Rainmaker Oh I can definitely understand! I was too at first but it has been water skiing/wakeboarding/swimming in the lake no problem! (No oceans where I am )

    I went to DR for my best friends wedding in December and I had most of her items in my suitcase. They make you fill out a card on the plane before landing and I spoke to the stewardess as I was confused. They asked about total $ amount in gifts I was bringing in but she stated as they are items that I am not giving as gifts to anyone that lives in DR, I do not need to declare them. She said anything related to the wedding was fine and need not be declared.

    The lifeproof case for iPhone works great. I have an Olympus Tough waterproof digital camera. I LOVE it! Bought it 5 years ago and still takes amazing pictures. No sign of wear and tear!

    Hi all! I just received my order of finger starfish and they are BEAUTIFUL! Wanted to share this seller in case anyone was looking for a good deal. I ordered them last Friday and they already came in (they were shipped from the US to Canada). https://www.etsy.com/shop/MacDriftwood I ordered 80 4-6" starfish for $60! They were all intact and perfect when I got them. Caitlin
