Free Studio Suits Fabric Sample Kit
kmk2016 replied to pzl101's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade or Freebies!
I would be interested! Does it include their grey swatches? The grey family of colors is what we are looking for- and this would be SO helpful!!! PM me with any details you need!!! ) -
@@kcole123 BRUTAL!!! Out of office until August?? That's ridiculous!!! I would CALL your TA and talk to her "replacement" and ask how she would like to best handle this change, since it may cause some of your guests not to use your TA if they think she is going to be gone!!!! I would (once you get direction from your TA's replacement), send out a postcard to your guests.. or email them and letting them know about the new contact.

Karisma resorts also do this- but it's a s'mores party. (Bonfire with s'mores and chocolate fondu on the beach) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Would/have You Gotten Married At A Resort You Haven't Been To Before?
kmk2016 replied to diadiamond's topic in Cuba Weddings
Normally I would totally book something I haven't been to before/ but you are 100% correct about Cuba/ it's a totally different ball of wax! I have been 8 times and I agree about the star system and a 5 star in Mexico/Canada/US standards is more like a 3 in Cuba for the simple fact that they can't get access to a lot of things. It really depends on what's important! You KNOW the beaches are going to be breathtaking and the people will be fantastic, but as for the food, drink and maintenance of the property,,, that can be hit or miss (often miss). If you are choosing some place you have never been I would rely heavily on friends who have travelled there who can give you accurate reviews... And sadly tripadvisor (which always seems to bring out the worst), because you want an honest accounting of the negatives. I would also be prepared to bring more decor with me rather than rely on options supplied by the resort. Good luck!! I'm sure whatever you decide it will be beautiful. Oh sorry! I thought you meant the templates here!!! Hahaha well most will be iOS compatible..,. You can also email the owner of any template websites and ask if they are compatible, aylee bits for example has many of her templates free. If you were pulling from here, now that you are 150 posts you can easily try them and see if they work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks.... Hopefully our guests use the site! As for the invites, I used the free aylee bits template (google) and then customized it. You can totally change the theming etc and make it whatever you want! I added a QR code to link back to our website, and printed it on "Curious Metalics" paper through my personal inkjet printer, I then had to play around a bit with the pocket sleeve since I wasn't thrilled with the original layout, but once I did a few test runs I just printed them on michaels card stock and used the Martha Stewart punch to add some theming. I also added a Brad to hold the three pages of my invite together. All three printed on one piece of paper- so once I got rolling each invite cost approximately $1.05 (including the shared cost of cutting supplies) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My website goes "live" to my guests in the next week(s) when my boarding pass invites get sent out. We are really trying to encourage booking ASAP and so the focus of our site is "less fluff more content"... Everyone (including grandparents) we invited uses the internet so hoping people can navigate our site and RSVP Http://www.kimiandmark.com Any feedback would be helpful! Our DIY boarding passes (for those interested) look like this:

Im sending my invites out at start of July for my Feb 2016 wedding.. and forgo-ing the STDs. Figured I would save trees and only send out this one mailer, with all the information and direct the guests to our wedding website. The RSVP date is the same as our 90 day block deadline so hopefully it prompts people to put their deposits down early!

I just got back from a site visit and yes, they can get bad with rainy season. Not sure when your wedding is, but I would suggest packing Off for your guests for any activity on the beach- it will help with Mosquitos and Sand fleas. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi All! So i figured I would start a thread that has my projects as I work on them, since I have a LONG engagement and plan on having some unique DIY projects and details that would be worth sharing. At this point- We are in the early stages of the process, and just got back from the Karisma Bride's Dress Rehearsal where we confirmed that this company is the one for us. and the property we selected was Azul Sensatori in the Riviera Maya (Or now called Sensatori Riviera Maya) We asked our bridal party with the following... the wine bottles for the girls, and tequila for the boys We have chosen to not do Save the dates, but rather are sending out invitations early, and then will be using our wedding website to gather RSVP's and correspond with guests who confirm, as the date approaches. They were DIY using paper ordered online via papercircle (Canadian online retailer) and Michaels supplies. Here are the invites.... They are all directing guests to our website with both the QR code, and the website address: http://KimiandMark.com We will update it with more fun information and itinerary as the date is closer- but right now, we are keeping guests focused on the booking and RSVP process. My next project will be ordering my wedding dress, which I plan on ordering via Jasmine's Bridal for a custom recreation... well actually 2 dresses, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. I will be making place cards that are inspired by these: along with other projects like passport programs (that will be mailed out with everyone travel documents by my TA), OOT bags, door hangers, programs, felllow guest ice breaker info, etc... Any feedback on the website? Or on my progress thus far? Im happy to have a lot of time to do many of these projects... it will keep me busy for the next 18 months!

I PROMISE to write a review... I've just been swamped with work since getting back... But I need a future bride who is heading down to the BDR to take a tape measure and get the dimensions of the sky deck gazebo at Sensatori!!! I thought it was on the official thread, but since changing to the new white one, we don't have the dimensions! Can someone measure the height, width and depth? Thank you thank you thank you!!! I just did a quick search online using tripcentral (their pricing is always expensive so I never use them, but their vacation planning grid is super user friendly and great to use as a guide... ) They have packages with air transat holidays in April 2015... So check with your TA! They are even direct flights out of Edmonton. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

we are February 2016 as well... but Mayan Riviera. Its true that we are choosing the most expensive time of year to travel... but from Saskatoon (or Calgary where I am)... people want to escape the cold vs. go at a time where we are actually enjoying our few months of summer so prices are always more expensive. I would suggest talking to a great TA who can lead you in the right direction for some options... my TA has been amazing and has been great getting pricing and options this far out (Some TA's wont work on dates outside of a year)... I can get you her info if you are interested in talking to her. My prices are high... about $2000 with taxes in so we are also looking at 5 day packages to get the price lower for some people... it's an option that may help some guests pay a bit less. The good thing is, if you can give your guests a heads up on costs... or even let them start putting down deposits, we are giving our guests a TON of time to save and put down the remainder of their balance.

There are a few of us here already planning for 2016... You aren't alone! It will be here before you know it- so the more you can plan early the less stress down the home stretch! Welcome! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
