  1. Before deciding against a bouquet these were two that I liked... That fall in the "coral theme"... I'm actually considering this for me... Or my flowergirl... I think it's modern and fun! Not typical but pretty! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Haha! Enjoy! Another option- can you ask the WC on your site tour? They may have it written down! Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I like option #1 just personal preference! (Less writing but gets point across in a cool way) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I have my packages for February 2016 already so fall is defiantly not too early! The more time you can give you guests to save the better- also, some brides here have had their resorts sell out at 1 year ahead and were forced to scramble and move resorts that could accommodate their guests- so definitely work to lock in your wedding date/local AND get your package set! 5. We are actually using clutches instead of flowers for my girls.... I'm getting them made on etsy and they will look something like this, they will double as part of the BM gift and are really pretty I think! I'm not sure if I will bother with a bouquet for myself either, since I will be holding my sons hands down the aisle (they will be 9), so no hand to hold flowers and it would be a good place to save money if I don't even have a use for them! Here is an example of the clutches Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. What is it with men and watches? Haha... I know my FI would love it if I got him a watch but his taste is sooooo expensive that I don't have the budget to buy him one he would want- so I will go with something more sentimental (aka- cheap)! Haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I think we will do a bag, room key/money holder, door hanger and an inflatable pool float mattress (since our resort doesn't have them but allows people to bring their own or purchase in gift shop). And then with rooms with kids I will put in beach toys or some sort of small activity. I will also have a small "survival kit" with asprin, tums and aloe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. If you are simply going to ask a guest who is already booked and confirmed as attending your wedding to stand up for you and wear something simple, then I think it's ok to wait until 3-6 months out from the wedding, however if you are wanting to ask someone specific I would let them know as far in advance as possible to allow them the time to save money for attending you DW. Also dresses can take anywhere from 4-6+ months to deliver/alter so you would want to leave time for this if it was important. It would be the financial impact of asking someone last minute to travel for my wedding that made me want to make sure I talked to "my girls" early enough to make it more manageable for them to attend. 9. If you do a search here you will find many reviews and planning threads with current and past brides planning weddings at this resort. You will probably get more answers reading through these current threads, since some former brides may not be logging on to post on new threads. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Sign up for their emails... Girls here were the ones that alerted me to the sale last time... depending on your wedding date maybe you can catch the next sale? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Watch for weddingchicks discount codes... Last one was over July 4th weekend and made the bags $2 a piece when you bought them by the dozen (with custom graphic) There are definitely deals out there! Another option is to add a monogram or graphic yourself using transfers purchased at Michaels with a 40% coupon. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm not getting married at sandals but have used the spa there on past trips. I was able to add a tip to the bill at the end and it was charged to my room much like a restaurant tip- there is a line to fill out but they do point out a service fee is also automatically added. I topped it up slightly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I think almost everyone gets upgraded to some degree! But I guess you can't guarantee it! For us we are opting for the premium section but a normal room. The reason for choosing the premium section was because some of the bonuses require one room booked at this level to be eligible and also for the free internet. The honeymoon suites get the same amenities as premium, regardless of where they are in the resort. But we were there in June and honestly the rooms are all gorgeous. 14. #2! Very very pretty! You look beautiful in both though! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. @@lolita2014 I'm hoping you can help! I can't find the link to the online detail sheet.,, my WC gave me my username and password but I can't see where she supplied the link! Haha/ I know you were provided this- so hoping you can help point me in the right direction! Or anyone else... If someone else reads his first! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I know there are several websites that do this... Google honeymoon registry I think it was something like this. I stumbled across it but never wrote down the link because for us- we didn't want to ask for anything! (Cash or presents). With a destination wedding it just didn't feel right. 17. Keep in mind that for later 2015, your TA has to manually request quotes from the tour operators/resorts and may be slow to reply to them so they can provide the info to you. Don't be afraid to pick up the phone to ask for an update from your TA and she can let you know what things she is working on for you! Hang in there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Wright it awesome for American brides but Canadian packages are completely different. In Canada it's important to have a Canadian TA who has relationships with the tour operators since flight, hotel and transfers are included and priced differently than US Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Where are you located? You can drive across the border and pick them up if you are. But I would choose a city that has multiple locations since they may be sold out at some stores. Are you thinking Dollar Tree? Dollarama is a Canadian chain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. You definitely can. The credit can be split between whomever you want as the TA holds the credit. If you don't use it for yours/others vacation packages... You have to wait until after travel and your TA will write you a cheque Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I will pm you her info- but it's laurielee from tier one.... She is working with several brides here and is fabulous. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I haven't had my wedding yet so still in planning stage but we will be leaving a lot of the week open for our guests to enjoy their vacation and don't want to plan toooo many events. That being said, we are hosting a welcome s'mores party on the beach/catamaran sunset sail the day after arrival, and then a golf tournament on the day prior to our wedding. We will also provide information on many of the excursions available but want put guests to be free to do as little or as much as they want- since a week goes by so quickly! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Thank you! When we were there for the BDR last month we saw several weddings and the officiant was definitely not the WC, so hopefully your recommendation will work. I will forward to the off site coordinator once we have it all planned- and then also bring a copy for the onsite and also the officiant. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
