When we went to Le Chique there were two menu options and we had to reserve telling them ahead of time which one we chose. One was a lot less than the other (can't remember if it was $25/$125 though)... In any event we went with the lower priced one and had 8-9 courses (again can't remember)... And it was amazing and well worth the price... They did try and upgrade us to add a wine flight but we politely declined and they never brought it up again. Service was excellent. When we were leaving we looked around to see if we were the only "cheap" ones who booked the lower priced version... And everyone had done the same!

Welcome! There are tons of great brides here who will literally have the answer to everything and anything you think of! Read a TON on the forums and get to know the other brides... Planning will be a lot of fun... Enjoy!

I'm actually disgusted that a TA would do this. Of COURSE she paid less, travel agents get special rates when travelling themselves and know this. How the hell does she think it was professional or appropriate to discuss pricing and perks with a fellow traveller already on vacation? I'm sorry that this person affected your amazing wedding week... They had no right- hang on to the awesome memories from your big day and don't sweat the stuff that woulda/coulda happened but didn't.

Congratulations!!!! You will find the brides here amazing and the ideas shared such an inspiration toward your magical day!! Talk to a TA as a first step!

I think real touch flowers have come a LONG way from the old school silks that people envision. Most people won't be able to tell at all! I say go with your vision.... And if that means doing them in real touch it's fine! Plus you can use them as centrepieces later because they will still look nice. Just plop them in bloom boxes and voila!

It was the one in the far south (shawnessy) they had a bin full today. I'm never down there but was at that end of town because boys had hockey today.

Was at target in Calgary today and the wrist coils were at the front of the store in the dollar section. 4/$1 here in Calgary! With the key ring attached. Blues/purple were the colors (assorted in each pack)

I actually don't bother to put much stake in ANY online review... Be it Yelp, tripadvisor, BDW or any of the other places you can read someone's quick summation of an experience. I would rather, as ACW noted, have real discussions (online works) with fellow brides (in this example) to hear their actual experiences and feelings on things I am considering. A review is a simply place to vent or an easy payoff for a perk... Not always- but often times reviewers don't share the same attitude or vision as I do. If I want a reccomendation for a place to eat- I don't check Yelp, I ask those who know me, my tastes and my expectations and ask them! Same works here... Reading people's planning threads, getting to know one another on this forum and creating dialogues (even if you aren't sure of your plans) will lead you to fellow brides who you can tell enjoy the same aesthetic or they chose the same region or hotel because of similar budgets/tastes/priorities... THESE are the way you will find great vendors and honest feedback. The number of posts you have isn't being judged (I can assure you that was not @@acw271011 's intent... But the more you interact here the more info you are given to create the perfect day YOU envision. At least IMO

There are several locations... All are available to look at at the official Sensatori thread. Plaza Zavas (the poolside location you mention), the beach or the banquet room off the main lobby are the usual locations for receptions. Depending on the size of your group you can also use restaurant locations.

If you do a search for OOT bags you will find a ton of info and ideas (out of town bags) many brides use a beach tote as the holder vs a hamper perse but the contents are the same!

Congrats and happy planning! The girls here are awesome and you will have so much fun planning your special day.

"gourmet inclusive certified Travel Agent". which means that the travel agent is well versed in the karisma properties and is endorsed by the hotel because they trust they understand their product and can represent it in a way that Karisma demands. A good way to get a budget idea is to go to the weddingsbylomas website which has all the pricing and use this to figure out your costs. Approximate your guests and plan accordingly

Budget Excel Spreadsheet
kmk2016 replied to Manchester's topic in General Wedding Planning Information
I use the one on wedshare.com which is also where my website is hosted. The budget sheet is great! -
We have the hero3 and you can control it and see live shot from your phone so you can set it up and get the right angle- and then start/stop from the iPhone by someone nearby. I may enlist a guest to push start for me!

I saw a video where the officiant had it on a neck harness so it filmed the ceremony in an intimate setting and you could hear him clearly.,, and watched as the bride walked up the aisle. I threatened to make the BM where it as a head mount! Haha

We got one for Christmas and can't wait to use it at our wedding. I ordered a bunch of extra mounts on Amazon so that we can be really creative with it! It seems super fun!

The memorable moments packages are 100% customizable. You can use them as shown at the price reflected, or you can take certain components and pay ala carte. That is the way the entire concept was designed! You can most definitely use parts and not others. I had this question as well initially- and received this info at the BdR last June

Welcome and congrats!!! The brides here are all great and sooo helpful in bouncing off ideas and planning for a fab wedding! Enjoy the process!
