@@rednlovinit21 I am just doing the reception on the boat. I wanted to keep the decorations simple also. I was just planning on having tablecloths, centre pieces, and white lights (not sure if lighting is provided by the boat or not)

I did get the quote from them but it doesn't say anything about plates or pricing. I just have a quote for the international open bar, the dj, and mixed grill. I am assuming they would provide the plates and cutlery anyway. but I wasn't 100% sure on that.

 

I am having my ceremony at the garden gazebo at Melia Caribe tropical. I wanted the La Barcaza for the reception because I thought that would be different.

I asked about this! White square plates are provided for free you can purchase different ones from the decorator but the square ones are really nice they're in a few pictures I found online

@@jwalsh you must be getting so excited!! I don't think I'm doing assigned seating but I am also going to do the 8 person tables. Are you guys having a sweetheart table? I can't decide if we should sit by ourselves or not. Also what company are you using to decorate and what kind of decorations are you doing?

I'm using Carribean Celebrations We're just going to do a wedding party table of 8 since theres exactly 8 of us all together

If you ladies are wondering there's 5 8 person tables and 10 4-6 person tables. I think we'll do 3 8 person and one small for our group. I want to do assigned seating so this was helpful for me to know. He also assured me the bus that transports people is comfortable and executive Our wedding is less than a month away so I'll keep you posted how it all turns out

^{My brother is going to be one of my "bridesman" Since my girls are getting girly things I decided to give him what the groomsmen are getting.  So he's getting an engraved flask that says bridesman rather than groomsman, sandals and tie (both for the cermony)}

I'm in Edmonton and using flight centre they have been horrible if I could redo anything I would have priced other places

I down loaded the wedpics app and made brochures for my welcome bags and told them the info to upload pics to the app.  I'm going to put 2 disposable cameras per table (8 people per table) with a tag that says "to celebrate this special day, pick and camera and really play.  Leave it on the table when you are through, So Jaclyn and Marc can develop the pictures taken by you."

@@megan224 yup packing and taking with us we have a daughter that will be 15 months at the time of the trip so there'll be extra room in her suitcase then we'll prob bring an extra suitcase or 2 for everything to fit!

I heard that the sand can be a hassle getting through customs...

I was thinking maybe I'll just pour the sand out then redo it when we get home. I figure transporting it will cause the sand to all shift together anyway

Does anyone have templates with the color coral on them?  Looking for first aid kits..bag toppers for survival kits and oh sh!t kits, room key holders and wedding favour cards.  If tried searching but not having much luck

coral with some little blue accents here and there but for the most part just coral..u?
