I love shooting in Punta Cana, specifically the Majestic Colonial and Elegance! They do a great job with their Brides and always allow me to roam free throughout the resorts. With the Trash the Dress, generally we do that shoot the following day either in the morning as the sun rises or in the evening just before it sets. Great choice, you'll love the TTD session, it's so much fun! With my Destination Wedding Collection I include the TTD as part of the package, it's just too much fun not to do It's good to book your photog as soon as you're comfortably able to in order to block off that time. It's quite common for Brides to have their wedding at Kukua (while staying at my favourite resort the Majestic Colonial or Elegance) - it's a great, original option to get you away from the resort for an evening! Happy planning!

The Majestic is a great choice! The most popular times for weddings there are Jan-April, the weather is beautiful, it can get a little toasty however there is generally a nice breeze to cool things. On your wedding day the WCs do a good job helping you through everything and as a photographer I make sure we stop often to cool down. Happy planning!

Great choice Kailey! I've been to both resorts several times, the Colonial is a little less expensive and a little older however it's very nice. The Elegance is a little newer and slightly more expensive. They're nearly mirror images of each other with the beautiful long pool down the middle and rooms stretching down either side. When I shoot on the Colonial side I always bring my Brides/Grooms to the Elegance side for additional photos - there are some crazy-cool spots on both sides. They do a great job with their weddings, you'll be in good hands! Happy planning!
