My photographer is one of my guests - do you know if I will require a day pass for him? he is staying with us the whole duration of the trip

@@Stack02 I am getting married May 2015! We are doing the pergola, Mix bar then Terrace for our reception. Since I am only having 33 guests we are doing the reception on the terrace along with dancing, I was told by my coordinator who got married there that anything less than 35 in the bamboo room felt a bit overwhelming for the small group. What have you decided on?

I might be over thinking it but I'm not sure what to wear (underwear) to my first appointment that is next weekend any advice ladies

Out of complete fluke my bridesmaid and i were out shopping and walked by a Davids Bridal in Canada - we went in and ended up finding what I think are going to be my bridesmaid dresses I absolutely LOVE lace - since finding them all my bridesmaids have tried this on and sent me photos and they all look beautiful!!!

Congrats everyone!! My Fiance and I got engaged this January and we will be having our wedding May 22, 2015 at the Now Jade in Mexico!! We have confirmed our travel packages for our guests, currently taking deposits and now I have my first dress appointment next weekend!!!

Since we hired a travel coordinator she had reached out to each guest personally to discuss the process of booking our group package since it was a group booking for the Canadian guests which included flight, hotel, transfers. I do still want to send a STD regardless I think - especially since the American guests right now are on their own in terms of the packages. My travel coordinator is in Canada so she can make packages for Canada only. her american package prices are like double what the guests could find on their own so we are just going to hold a block of rooms for the American guests and have them look for their own flights based on the dates we give them for arrival and departure. Thanks for the tips on timing. I think I'll look at getting the STD's out here in the next few weeks for everyone then invites this summer directing them to our website we have set up for RSVP's. We are only having 35 people.

ladies.. any advice on whether or not I should send STD's? The reason I am asking is because I have already had over half of my guest submit their room and flight deposit for the wedding - Canadian guests only. Since my fiance is american his family has not yet booked anything since we do not have pre made USA flight and hotel packages done. Is it worth sending a STD anyways then an invitation later this year just cause? My wedding is May 2015

I am also bringing my friend who is a photographer to our wedding. We paid for his flight/accommodation package which will be credited back to us as a promo refund through our resort anyways. Then he will shoot everything - I mean everything from AM to PM for the wedding. He charged us an additional $750 dollars for the shooting, engagement session and then also I will get all images from him. He happenes to be my friend so its a good rate

Has anyone had the reception on the terrace and done a long single table. We only have 33 guests so we want to do one large table but I want to see how past brides have thought of it! Also - do you know the sizing

We are doing boarding pass invites and then passport book styles closer to the wedding with a detailed itinerary, info etc. My gf owns a scrapbook store so her gift to me is helping with these invites!!! such a relief! I was thinking about upgrading my menu also! $5 a person isnt bad at all! Did you get the planning document already or did you just email her? My travel coordinator already has been sending communications to my guests so I am not sending an official Save The Date... Seems pointless for me now since they are already putting deposits on their vacation haha. What kind of invites are you going to do?

I have to block some rooms for our travelers coming from the USA that are not included in my package price from Canada. Did you just block out rooms directly with the resort? Was there a fee for blocking out rooms? I would only need about 6 rooms total blocked out
