We are going to an AI so there are rooms of different price points, but average for flight and week is about $5,000 per couple. No complaints as of yet but we are having some people who will just go for 4 days versus the full week.

After reading more through this site, looking at pics from real brides, etc. I think we will go with the wedideas.com. I'm going to do before March so I can let you know!
Some important things to remember when placing an order with us:
•Please note that during High Wedding Season (March to October) there is a Minimum of $250 for Custom Orders.
•We do get booked in advance, so please do not delay in placing your order. We recommend whenever possible to order at least 3 months in advance. But you can always email or call us to check on the availability. Some rush orders will incur in a 20% Service Charge.
I'm bringing an AMAZING person with me. I wish we could figure out how make the resort think she was friends with both of us or do you think they wouldn't care because She's a registered guest anyway? I bet she'd cut us a deal bc of two weddings!

I woke up super early thanks to my dog and couldnt go back to sleep so I have now read through this entire thread! Yeah!
I have so many new ideas thanks to everyone!
Our wedding is 12/5 and I have my call with Roxy at the end of this month. I don't necessarily think you're late - they scheduled it in when we got our date. Don't stress!
I keep looking at sites like that too and go back and forth. I dont mind the thought of buying a dress that is a knockoff but I hate that they steal the real designer's photos. You don't get a sense of their workmanship that way.
I just went through the destination dresses and for a site claiming to have sold "tons" of dresses, the vast majority have zero reviews. Those that do seem fake...poorly written and some don't match up at all like "can't wait to wear to my daughters wedding" yet it's a wedding dress. Other mention things like "thanks TB" and "great dress TB" as though the site was called some different before. Maybe red flags?
Hi, Ladies! I just thought I would pass along that Vistaprint is having a HUGE sale through tomorrow night!
Check it out! I just saved a ton on thank you cards, stickers, return address labels, and a photo book!
Do you need to ask for a room or do they just give you one? I'm fine with sharing room night before but want to be apart all day until the ceremony! It's a big resort so I'm sure we will be fine with not seeing each other before we go to the spa for hair/makeup!
I love this! My FI lost both parents and a brother within 18 months and I know it weighs on him that they will be at the wedding in spirit only. Three empty chairs may be too much emotionally but I love, love, love this idea. I never had the chance to meet them, but I'm positive they are amazing people.
If the resort allows (have first phone meeting with them soon) we will light Chinese lanterns in their memory.
Unplugged ceremony but not reception. We will however have a "no FB posting" rule until the trip is over. While our pages are marked private it's never a good idea to post when you're on vacation because you're advertising you are not at home!
Love #2! Im biased because I've had it pinned on pinterest for a while and am currently making plans to drive four hours to try it on but it looks AMAZING on you!
Kids are technically invited to ours, however the timing is such that there shouldn't be any schools out for winter break yet! It's harder for kids to be pulled out of school right after Thanksgiving vacation and before Christmas/Winter Break so we won't end up having any.
