  1. Okay this may be a dumb question.. but i am asking anyway! How do they determine if you are a guest at the Marriott in a timeshare vs being there as an all-inclusive? Do they give you a wrist band or something? And does anyone know which restaurants are currently included in the all-inclusive option there?

  5. @@amarie4713 @@Jennkn87 We are getting married May 6th in St John USVI and will be away from May 3-16 and are having our party on June 6th. I figured this would give me enough time to get back into a routine! I also liked the idea of 5/6 & 6/6 significant dates. I think any amount of time is okay as long as everyone who you really want at your party is "in the know" with enough notice to be available for your party!

I started working with Pallie from Ceremonies of St John but I realized that she only works with weddings in st john. we are having our ceremony in st john but our reception in st thomas at havana blue at the marriott so I am trying to decide if logistically it would be better to use someone like janelle who works in both locations. Thoughts?

I will definitely be looking into doing this! thank you! @@Mufin1785 I really like the tupperware bin suggestion as well because then you can just trash the bins while you are down there. Do you know if there is any difference with checking a tupperware than checking a suitcase? Or is it the same weight rules? Also, do I need to call the airline ahead of time about bringing my dress on the plane? Does this count as my carryon for Spirit Airlines?

  15. I did invitations to our DW (5-6-14) in St Thomas/St John for the 35 people on our list. I also sent our STDs for our AHR (Cape May, NJ- home) (6-6-14) and plan to send invitations for our AHR as well. Any advice?
  16. Great ideas! I am planning our AHR exactly one month from the date of our ceremony on our DW. This gives me two weeks home before the party date! I am planning on wearing my dress and possibly changing half way through into a party dress.
  17. I think that the customized labels for the cigars are fabulous! What made you purchase individual labels vs. printing them on your own and cutting them out? Just curious. Do you have a total price for the labels you purchased?

  19. You would think by just addressing the invite to the two adults in the household that people would get the point. LOL i guess not. My dad is very concerned about children being present at the AHR where there will be alcohol present. Kids and drunk adults do not typically mix very well, and I agree but does "adult reception" seem rude on an invite?
  20. Can someone recommend the best place for dinner after our ceremony? St Thomas or St John. Also, does anyone know if The Ritz is open to public? For instance, if I want to go get some pictures done with my girls prior to my ceremony, do you think I can just walk in with my photographer and girls?
