Meeting with Roxy tomorrow!!

It sounds like everyone is having their call in February, maybe it will be active after that. I have mine scheduled for the 4th. How many people does everyone having coming? We are thing between 25-35. I still can't commit yet to the reception schedule. We are getting married at sunset in December so it should be around 5/5:30. Not sure if we should have an 1 to take photos and schedule a dinner at a restaurant then the complimentary cocktail hour or just do a couple hours of the cocktail hour with hot and cold apps and forget the dinner all together. Anyone have any thoughts? I don't want to do a private sit down due to the cost, I at least know that much.

Isn't there anyone getting married either soon or recently?! I need some new reviews!

I can't wait to hear how it goes! I have mine on the fourth and have a huge list of things to go over. Can't think of anything in particular at the moment that needs to be addressed immediately. I am curious to see how she behaves as some of the posts don't seem to promising...

@blakdeeva I went through the entire forum and just wrote down a ton of questions for Roxy as well as helpful tips/activities/general hotel info. We are looking into just doing a cocktail hour or two for our reception, no dinner at this point. I am waiting on final count of people to decide exactly what will be best option for our group. I can email you my list of questions to you if that helps.

@@megthomson That is a genius idea! I would think that it wouldn't matter since she is a guest. The only thing that they wouldn't allow is for her to be included in my reception or other group activities because she isn't booked through my group code, i wouldn't think this would matter since she would just be taking photos. Any idea on cost?

@@megthomson thanks Meg! I think they have the best ones I have seen. I think I am just going to order a pre made bouquet since what they have looks so beautiful. I am only having a matron of honor so not a lot of flowers needed. Did you notice they have petals as well in several colors for very cheap? I think we are going to purchase a few bags to put down the aisle.

How far in advance do you think the Natural Flowers should be ordered?

That's awesome if the IPOD docks are free! We are definitely leaning towards just bringing our own playlists, the DJ is so expensive.

Does anyone have a suggestion or guide as to how long in advance you should order the Natural Touch flowers?

FYI I was able to purchase two different suits from Jos A Banks for my fiancé for less than $100 each. I couldn't decide since I purchased online so I got both and we are going to return one. They offer a Tropical Blend suit in a few tan colors as well as a Poplin suit in a few tan colors. May be something you girls want to look into, cost was less than renting it. Plus you can purchase online and return in store. I can post pics once he tries them on.

@@jandl2013 That is so frustrating!! I am so sorry you are going through that, it should only be about what makes you happy. It's just too difficult to please everyone and inevitably someone is selfish and that takes away from your moment.

I purchased starfish crystal hair pins to where in my updo, I have two large ones which I have included a photo and three small. Now I just have to find the jewelry to go with.... Can't include photo since I don't have enough posts, I need 150!!!

@pongyang I am so undecided about the TTD! I am leaning towards it though. Most of my family hasn't either, huge fit over pricing and how far away it is. My friends and cousin (matron of honor) are the only ones who seem excited and are looking at it as just a vacation where you happen to be attending a wedding. How has your family responded?

@pongyang not sure number yet, we have 19 for sure now and I would say 50 max. Everything is up in the air until we know the number of rooms and guests to make a better decision. Have you decided on the photos and videography yet? I'm thinking no to photos based on reviews but still on the fence with the video. Getting married December 6, 2014.
