  1. I got mine from afloral.com, and they look pretty nice. Some of the blue orchids aren't very "real" looking, but most of the flowers look great! I also got white roses from the brick & mortar Hobby Lobby with a 50% sale, for my tossing bouquet. They are awesome!
  2. I was quoted $50/orchid, so I am going with real touch (which is also pricey for orchids!).
  3. Gorgeous! We're doing an 'orchid' inspired theme, so blue/teal/sangria. This was the inspiration - doing sangria instead of the purple because it "pops" more: http://achurlik91.wordpress.com/
  4. We got mood color changing stadium cups personalized to our names & in our wedding colors. It'll be handy for guests on the resort, since we're going to an AI, which tend to have small drink glasses! I found them on Etsy and Ebay (same seller, same price lol). I ordered via Etsy because I could convo them that way, versus email Here is a link to the cups: https://www.etsy.com/listing/188014426/16-oz-custom-mood-cups-clipart-1214-eat?ref=shop_home_feat_1
  5. My resort offers centerpieces for like $40 per table - I will have 2-3 tables, so I may just pay it so I don't have the hassle of dragging things down there! I've already got the welcome bag stuff that will need to be taken down. I'm going to check with the coordinator to see what the centerpieces come with, and if it's worth it to do more.
  6. I really want a blue orchid bouquet, but the florist charges $50 per orchid, and that's just crazy. We're doing a real touch bouquet, we'll see how that turns out
  7. Great advice on the containers, will be sure to do so! Also doing this because I want orchids and they want to charge me $50 PER ORCHID...ouch.

  10. Amazing! I'm super impressed by how much you've gotten accomplished in a short time. And great job on the weight loss! getting healthy is always the goal, but must be satisfying to have to take in that dress
  11. If it's that important to you, I'd keep looking. It is wedding season, so he might be pretty busy but it's no excuse if you're in that business! The resort provides our officiant (also doing a symbolic ceremony). If my cousin's husband is able to attend the wedding, I may ask him to do it, if they'll let us!
  12. Congrats! There is (an almost overwhelming) amount of information on this site. Definitely take the time to go through the forums and get ideas for your own wedding. I've loved all the DIY crafts/etc, very helpful!
