  1. I did this for my daughter's 2nd birthday - I got some personalized stickers off of ebay to put on the bottom of hershey's kisses & reeses cups! It was quick and easy
  2. I got them off ebay, and they are actually decent quality! I bought them from several ebay vendors for between 1.35-1.65 each with free shipping (they were all the same, just listings only had a few).
  3. I'm doing the OOT as the favors, since I'm putting a LOT of time/effort/money into them (mostly time and effort, they are less than $10 per bag currently)! I'm putting color-changing stadium cups into the bag, along with sunglasses and a non-personalized shot glass (for the ceremony toast). So I have a lot of "favor" type of stuff in the bag already. It's really going to be up to you, as other ladies have said, whatever you feel comfortable with and fits within your budget. I know my guests will appreciate the thoughtfulness of the bag, and won't be wondering "why didn't I get a real favor" at the wedding. Although...I am doing small blue luggage tags for placecards, so that could be considered a "favor" I guess LOL.
  4. I got on this morning and went "YES!!! I AM SO EXCITED SHE STARTED HER THREAD!!" FI looked at me like I was NUTS (he knows I post on "some wedding board thing" but obviously I am not letting him read it haha). OMG - my FI told me he's bringing his banana hammock to wear too...we were swimmers so he has plenty of them! I love love love the jewelry. The one you have on is gorgeous, but I also like the brooch, it does make it very elegant! The flower is beautiful, good thrifty shopping You reminded me of something to add to my list! I bought undies (both white & light blue) and iron on letters, but have to decide which and if i'm wearing them for the boudoir pics! The light blue are completely see thru lace :S I'm friends with my photog...not sure I want her to get that close and personal LOL I love the gifts for your kids - they are great! Excited to see more updates!
  5. @@amarie4713 Wow - everything looks fantastic! Did you design everything yourself? It's all very professional - I would have guessed that you had paid someone a lot of money to do it! Great job!
  6. @@tygrrlily Sure thing - here are a few templates! I used the MS Word template for mine, but the PDF one you can fill in and then print also. You cut them out (if you have a paper cutter for crafting, I'd use that versus scissors, it made cutting REALLY fast) and then fold them over the straw to get the "shape" of what you wanted it to look like. I then put glue on the paper (which was still semi-folded in half/rounded where the straw goes) and then put it together on the straw. I then cut the ends into flags, or you could also leave it straight, up to you! Straw_Flags_Template.pdf Straw_Flags_Template.doc
  7. Update 10.12.14 Got quite a bit done this weekend! Of course not exactly what I was PLANNING on doing...but that's okay! Toasting Glasses: Got this in the mail - looks awesome! They didn't have an option to engrave in black but overall, I like how it turned out! stock image: Set in package (didn't unwrap sand/shells): Engraving!: Cocktail Hour Straws: I had bought a bunch of straws for kiddo bday parties, and found that I had 3 that were close to our colors. Since I already had paper leftover from the invites, I just printed out 1 sheet with some sayings from a template (found on Pinterest & later I found more on here!) and cut them out. One thing I did instead of double sided tape was use "Permanent Glue Sticks", which turned out awesome. OOT Bags: Thanks to tygrrlily for talking me back into sense (versus spending more money on MORE bags, haha). I got some raffia from walmart for $2 for a bag, and it was more than enough to tie 2 dozen bags. I also put the starfish charms I had gotten off ebay (something like 50 for 1.25) on the tags. All that is left is to either write or stamp something on the tags. And fill them, of course. Cake Serving Set: So I got the set I ordered in the mail, and I'm not overly happy. First, it was NOT the same as in the picture - different handle design & shape that connects the blade to the handle. The box came that way in the mail, too! It also looks pretty cheap - the metal colored plastic is all melted. I can return it - but does it really matter if I'm covering it in ribbon anyway? I wasn't overly invested in this piece looking amazing, but I'm a little irritated at the shape of the pieces. Do I return & spend like $5-7 more to get a "beach" one, or just wrap this one in ribbon to cover flaws? Box - came like this! Handle of one I got: Listing picture (see rounded joining edges/looks like real metal & different design?): Messed up plastic

  11. I totally get this! I'm battling right now with the fact I REALLY want a light up dance floor but with having between 90 to 2.5 hour dancing in reception max (probably 1.5 dancing, 4 hours total is what we'll go with)...I can't justify the 800 price tag! Boo!
  12. My in laws insisted, but the reason I'm doing destination is because everyone is far flung! So I bet like 10 people will come, including family. Which is fine! We're nontraditional with 2 kids, so I don't even know what I'd want lol
  13. I did boarding pass ones, and they were about 3/each with shipping (70 cent stamps). I made 50+ - they actually got cheaper as I made more due to spreading out material costs lol. They were time intensive, though, so if you can get them done for less...do it!
  14. I got a on sale veil on hobby Lobby (8!) Double tier that I'm wearing for boudoir pictures, which is my groom gift for morning of wedding. It's white, and my dress is ivory/looks almost champagne. I'm 80% sure I don't want one, but you never know
