  1. I agree! Especially as the sunset pictures in Cancun aren't as good as say Cabo, due to the sun setting in the west. I think it'll also be good as the reception will have a little longer light, which is all good for pictures!
  2. That's a really short change, to March 8th? If so, then it doesn't affect my wedding on the 14th (whew).
  3. I love the coral and grey - the bouquets turned out phenomenally! I think that you got a great deal for all of that for under 200! Your dress is gorgeous, and the belt is very similar to the Allure s33 that I LOVED. I couldn't bring myself to spend $200 before tax on it, lol! I think you look phenomenal in the dress - no second thoughts, it's perfect for your shape! Keep updating us, this is great
  4. I also love that you are so open and still involved, even though your wedding is over I know I've personally benefited from your wisdom Thank you!!
  5. Weird, no I don't. I could understand if you were using your mobile device, or Tapatalk, that doesn't have the options. Maybe it's the type of device you are using?
  6. @@kcole123 You first upload the pictures to your personal gallery - so go into your profile and get to gallery. You can make a folder (or multiple) and then you upload the pictures there. Then, when you make a post, to the right of the emoticon/happy face, there is a button that says "My Media" - click on Gallery Images. Basically, type out the words, and then after the paragraph click on the "My Media" button and select the picture. it'll put the name of the picture in the box, but when you preview/post, it'll show the picture
  7. Agree with all of the above! It's way cheaper than offering to pay for babysitting during the wedding and events, too.
  8. The dip kiss at the ceremony site is GORGEOUS! These are wonderful, it looks so amazing. Congratulations again! And thank you for sharing!!
  9. That would be hilarious and awesome! We land around 130 I think. Might be 230 now with the time change that goes into effect on 2/1. I need to check our flight!
  10. @@TammyWright and that's how I found my photographer It is nice how they lay out each one, a little about them, and some examples of their work tho
  11. Um - interesting! I just emailed my WC to see how that affects my ceremony. It might not affect anything ceremony-wise because I won't be able to get great sunset pictures anyway due to the water being east./sun setting in west. It might just be lighter at the reception longer? Ugh. Thank you for posting!!
  12. Update 1.15.15 Mini update again today. I worked on the maracas tags over lunch, and while I don't "love" them, I think they'll do I don't want to spend a ton of time and effort on them, since I'm not 100% they'll even get used! I am using leftover paper from invites, and thin ribbon I bought for .99 that I didn't have a use for. They are a little bigger than I wanted, but no one will care I did the design in Picmonkey (mostly so I could use the Rue font that is so festively Mexican looking!) I test printed today, and I'm apparently out of ink...the colors aren't too bad, so not sure I want to bother getting more just for these. Most of what I have left to print is probably black & white. Except the welcome book...maybe I should just get ink haha. I can't seem to find the exact template - if you buy the special paper from Avery, they'll already be in a luggage shape and labels. I just used them for a general size & printed on normal ivory paper. I'll keep looking, and if I find it, I'll post it here! Test Print I decided to do a "fun" hole punch, and used my little crab (I got it on ebay for 99 cents from China, it's REALLY tiny but very cute). Not sure how I'm going to tie it in the punch, but this is okay for now Here it is all put together with a maraca from our trip to Cabo. Tag again is a bit bigger than I'd like, but for a project that I'm not sure we'll even use (if we can't get to the market for instance) I can't complain! I plan on putting the tags together with the ribbon, and then when we get there, it'll be easy to just tie them on. And with 20 guests coming with me on the plane, I'm pretty sure someone will be able to help out
  13. @@MrsCtoB We are flying in on the 11th! We have 2/3 of the guests flying on the same flight, it's going to be a hoot! We are staying a few days after guests leave, for our "honeymoon" but it's mostly for the TTD session and to take advantage of family babysitting (which we don't usually get since we live far away from the family now!).
  14. @@kcole123 I think she's referring to underwear that goes up and covers your stomach - so it's control in the stomach area, like an "instant tummy tuck". They tend to be underwear shaped, but go up to under your breasts. At least, that's what I think she's referring to! They make good quality ones - you can check them out at most places that sell underwear. Here's an example: http://www.amazon.com/Maidenform-Flexees-Shapewear-Seamless-Hi-Waist/dp/B00AWMQM4O/ Some brands are Maidenform, Spanx, etc. My advice is to find one with reviews on the top not rolling - that would be horrible to have it roll under your dress!!
  15. @@acw271011 I'm sure I'll be posting quite a few I can't wait for the TTD session!! @@Wafflesmom How exciting! I'll be sure to post a review. So far he's been fantastic!
  16. I saw this article today and wanted to share it here! I wish there was a list like this when I was searching for photographers. I'm excited to see ours, Samuel Luna, on this list! Hopefully this helps brides looking for photographers! http://www.bridebox.com/blog/top-20-wedding-photographers-cancun/
  17. @@pykx82 Thanks!! It's a blast, I'd totally recommend it! We did print them out ourselves. I got paper online, and printed some on both our inkjet home printer and some on my FI's work laserjet. I'd recommend printing on a laserjet - the paper seemed to absorb the inkjet ink more, if that makes sense? They were just more muted/not as crisp looking. It was pretty easy, as I used the Aylee Bits template and a jacket template I found on here. So it was just customizing it, and cutting them out/folding the jackets. They took a bit of time to put together, but I loved them! For anyone looking to do a boudoir book, and you're in the Chicagoland area, this is our family friend/photographer who does them. She does an amazing job, and is so sweet and it's not uncomfortable at all: https://www.facebook.com/AmandaBrownPhotography1
