Hey ladies! congrats on booking your venue. Im an Azul beach bride. the karisma planners are awful! I recently complained about the slow response time. my planner told me she always responds within 48 hours. Today is Wednesday...the last time I sent her a questions was last Thursday & on top of the slow response they have now initiated an automated response saying they are very busy. My advice to u is to start making decisions immediately. Im about 80 days out from the wedding and nothing has been set. Im not really worried...just annoyed bc of all the money we are spending to just stay at the resort

I'm doing a peacock theme- color focus on purple, royal blue and teal

I also came across some other cute ideas on here for the OOT bags...but my main concern is carrying all the stuff to Mexico. I'm trying to pack as light as possible! I used to be big on heels but they take up so much room when packed so I've been looking only for flats. My hope to get all my clothes in one (large) suitcase Im also looking into the day after kits because after researching the OOT bags and seeing everyones ideas...im thinking some of the stuff Im planning on is kinda tacky.

my fiancé and I are in the same boat. we've been together for years and have everything we need. we set up the honeymoon registry...which is actually helping to fund our wedding stay. we are both under-employed so a wedding is a huge hardship. I know some of the family prefer to buy gifts...however, we are very non-traditional and we are sticking to our guns. I love the idea of the honeymoon registry. When it comes to the shower we don't have to sit there and open a bunch of household items in front of people who are bored. No boxed gifts will allow us more time to spend with the guests...bc lets face it...we rarely have the opportunity to get together. plus...what we need most at this time is help with the wedding. it is the beginning of our married lives together. Ive developed the attitude that I don't care what the guests think about the registry. the wedding and shower are about my fiancé and I. therefore people should respect what we ask for and not make a big fuss over it.

did you ship or carry all your stuff on the plane? how many bags besides your clothes did you have to bring?

I am totally torn on this topic. a friend of mine was married in mexico and shipped her centerpieces. everything arrived on time and in tact. however, I have heard so many horror stories...and the resort said that they never recommend shipping
