When our wedding dates gets closer I'll have to deal with them and I like things perfect @@talicea7812 - I saw you mentioned not having much to do. Playa del Carmen is 10 min away. I've been before. Its pretty with cobblestone streets with shops, restaurants and bars (Senor Frogs & Coco Bongo is there) your guests can also take a ferry right out of Playa del Carmen over to Cozumel for the day/night. Just thought I'd share.

@@isymiyake2000 - I have photos if you would like to see from one of the wedding coordinators. She said we could have our reception in the garden and the dj/dancing is setup on the pool deck (that's what she called it) Its just the cement area surrounding the pool where the chairs would usually be. I'm curious about the S'mores party you can have on the beach I saw someone else mention it. Not sure how much it cost? I'm waiting to find out who my wedding coordinator will be. talicea7812 - where are you having your ceremony & reception? You have nothing really booked? Man, that would make me go crazy lol We booked last Thursday and have yet to find out who our coordinator will be or hear from anyone! I've emailed back and forth with 2 separate coordinators over the past few weeks before booking with questions and they both took several days, but did respond. One was better than the other. I hope she ends up my coordinator!

We are getting married at Azul Fives on January 11, 2015. I don't see a 2015 board so I thought I'd post here. Anyone doing their reception in the garden with the pool deck as the dance floor? We were considering this. I have my heart set on a Sky Deck ceremony its beautiful and private. isymiyake2000 I'm interested if most go with the signature collections or just creating your own package with Lomas too!

Hi Tammie, I've been working with Virgilia from Wright. Is she a part of the GI Wedding Consultants? I'm having a lot of trouble with someone from the Karisma Miami office respond to me I sent an email and left a voicemail. I was hoping to find out more about Azul Fives because we love Playa del Carmen. Do you know if the rooftop deck is where private non beach ceremonies take place at Azul Fives or where the private receptions are held? The Sky Terrace at Azul Beach looks amazing I'm just curious what Azul Fives has to offer. If you know of a way for me to get in contact with a wedding coordinator for Karisma that would be great. We would like to put the deposit down for our wedding date (January 11, 2015 wedding) Thanks for your response! Kim

I could really use some help ladies. I am torn between these two resorts and the Karisma wedding planners take forever to respond. Anyone had a wedding at either resort? I was also looking for photos for the ceremony and reception locations for Azul Fives. I was also hoping to get a pdf version of their pricing. Any information or help would be totally appreciated! I really like the look and the good reviews on Paradisus. We are planning on booking a January 2015 wedding.Would someone be willing to send me any information they have from their wedding or planning experience. I like the idea that the ceremony and reception areas seem somewhat private. Anyone have additional pictures they would be willing to share? Thanks!!

Hi All I wanted to introduce myself and get the planning started! We are planning on a January 2015 destination wedding. We are set on it being in the Riviera Maya and am working with a travel agent I am just having a hard time deciding on a hotel. Need a resort that allows kids and my only other concern is having the ceremony/reception private. Been looking at the Moon Palace and Dreams Riviera Cancun. Can anyone help me out or provide some information on these two hotels? Thanks!
