    I think khaki's and a philippino dres shirt (his choice). I may change my mind as the date draws closer, but I really don't care WHAT he wears (within reason, of course).

    We are paying for our own. Honestly, that's why I'm having the wedding *I* want. I'm paying for it, I'm getting what I've always dreamed of.

    @Shaylaj you're back!! YAY! OMG, how was your wedding? Tell us everything! Were you happy with the Excellence? A TA review posted recently giving them 1 star and saying how crappy the resort was and how the resort was extorting the bride and groom. ACK!

    Do outside vendor fee's apply to photobooth companies? I mean it's not like you're TECHNICALLY going outside the resort (I mean, you kind of are, but it's not like it's a service they offer).

    I am hope, hope hoping we can keep it under $17k ($10K for wedding and $7K for honeymoon - we're staying 2 weeks at the resort).

    Mine is approx $1200 per person total for 5 nights. It will vary depending on flight prices (which haven't been released yet) though.

    We did engagement pictures... but from a friend who did 'em for free. I don't think they are necessary at all. Honestly, we took ours a year ago, and I don't like them anymore b/c I've lost 50 lbs and now I think I look totally fat in the pics.

    I wanted to elope but FI didn't. So I figured a DW was a good comprimise. He gets his big day, but we can keep it intimate. Plus, I always dreamed of getting married on a tropical beach.

    I have a question... how in the heck do you know how many tables you're going to have in advance? I'm thinking about nixing assigned seating. So much stress! Ugh.

    Just wondering if the resorts will set up whatever you bring? Looks like chair sashes are cheap! But wouldn't the resort rather you spend the $5 per chair? Are they really cool enough to set up your stuff for you? I already feel nickle and dimed!
