    @@vANDm I am getting married at the royalton June 2014 I hope all of the small ( new opening) problems are fixed by that time. jellyfish looks wonderful congrats!

    I knew that I wanted to use a particular company vacation express that flew charters from my city ( most of my family is here). This helped to narrow down countries. I used a travel agent to help me price resorts for my time frame and I picked the one with the best value IMO. As mentioned above the ease of having an official vs symbolic ceremony will help narrow locations. I really wanted an official ceremony but the DR has sooo many hoops to jump. Talking with my fiancé helped ease the initial disappointment of having a symbolic ceremony. We will do official paperwork at home.

    @@DWBride2015 not a problem. I think in the end I will be happy with everything - I like the resort location ( close to hard rock casino) and I like the idea that everything is new.

    @@kyjanga I'm not a riu bride but just wondering if you are at the riu clubhotel or the palace ? We stayed at riu club June 2013 and loved it & he proposed at Ivan's catcha falling star restaurant .

    @@DWBride2015 my planning is nonexistent ...lol. I stopped over the holiday but I will start emailing the resort again next week. They have had a couple of ceremonies now so maybe they can give specific answers.

    A reception is not included at my all inclusive hotel (Royalton) only a semi-private dinner. Our ceremony is at 5pm and we have a party of 15-25. I am trying to decide if it makes since to pay extra to have a short reception with music. Too few guest to have a lively party IMO. And disco doesn't open until 11pm. I do agree that something needs to happen to close the evening. It will be great to hear other opinions.

    I have been told that 4pm and 5pm are popular sunset around 7:20pm. The bad side to a late day is blocking out full day to get ready.. We are only on resort for 4 nights.

    Just paid $200 deposit to hold date at resort. Royalton punta Cana.. About 14 guest have paid deposits. Now on to fun part figuring out how much the all inclusive can charge me for each small item.

    Hmm I thought destination would be easier than at home...it is difficult but I still choose destination. Currently mega million lottery is at 400 million if you won would you tell your family (mom,dad,brother,sister etc) ?

    My guest are paying $955 Per person for four nights, direct charter flight from CVG, transfers, all inclusive at the new Royalton hotel in punta Cana, DR. This does not include insurance.

    I love the target bag. I saw this one at David's Bridal. I am trying to find a website that sells these totes that seem to have a plastic feel or waterproof feel. I have seen them at grocery stores and TJ Maxx for .99 cents. I would prefer not having a store name. I will keep searching but target is a great backup. Sorry for quality had to take a pic of the pic on my phone couldn't upload any other way. After reviewing looks upside down as well. My first post growing pains will read instructions now !
