  1. During the Bath & Body Words Annual Sale I purchased several of the Aruba Shower Gels (10oz) and Body Lotion (8oz) bottles. Now I am having buyers remorse. They are large bottles and will make a lot of weight and take up a lot of space in our luggage. I have been racking my brain for ideas and need some help! Just as a reminder my wedding is in Aruba that is why I purchased these in the first place. Idea #1 - Return the bottles and buy another fragrance during the sale in June Idea #2 - Buy small trial size bottles and try to scan the label and make smaller bottles Idea #3 - Return the bottles and use the money on something else Idea #4 - Keep the large bottles and give to the guests with their pre-travel package that will include travel information, luggage tags, etc. The kicker with this is it will cost about $5 to ship each of these. Any ideas or help would be AWESOME!
  2. @@DianneP would you mind sharing what you included in your OOT bags?
  3. @@forevertogether Thanks for sharing the finds! You may want to check the antacid...the picture is antacids, but the description is for non-aspirin tabs.
  4. They also were very expensive. Thanks! They have tons of colors also! How did you order them, they don't really have an order location on their website. Best wishes on your upcoming wedding!
  5. I have been considering getting Pashmina for my female guests, but after searching I can't say which websites are legit and which are not. So I'm wondering if anyone could share where they purchased theirs, how much the cost, and what was the quality? Thanks!
  6. I am wondering if you received the correct item, the gemline 1100 is made fromthe same material as the Gemline G1510. I also, received a sample of the Gemline 1100 http://www.sassyapparelblanks.com/1100-Gemline-Select-Zippered-Tote?category_id=0 and it wasn't a cheap material.
  7. I was at Dollar Tree this afternoon and saw the dollar tree bags on display. This is what they look like
  8. I was at Dollar Tree this afternoon and these are the ones they had on the shelf.
  9. Yes that includes the paper, envelopes, and charms. I printed them at home, but purchased most of the items at Michaels or AcMoore and used 50% off coupons. I got the pocketfolds from paperandmore.com and was lucky enough that the color I wanted was in their Almost Perfect section, when I got them 2 weeks ago they were $4 cheaper, they were $26.99 for 50. The card stock was from Michaels and I used a 50% off coupon. The charms came from Etsy and I also got some from AC Moore and used a 50% off coupon. I found that when I needed several things from Michaels and AC Moore it was helpful to take my fiance or step daughter to help buy more then one thing with the 50% off coupons. The only thing it didn't include was the postage.
  10. Here is the link http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/76761-my-diy-pocketfold-invitations/ And a photo of the finished project on the inside. Any questions let me know.
  11. @@tasha682 did you see mine? Mine were only about $50 for 50 invitations. I designed and printed them myself, with the help of this site for inspiration!
  12. I have had a few requests for a template. I will work on making mine generic and share later on.
  13. I finally finished and mailed our invitations yesterday! After months of searching this forum and initially designing passport invitations I ended up going with a pocket fold invite. I have to thank the following brides for their inspiration: http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/71646-our-kraft-paper-diy-invites/ http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/59046-my-diy-linen-invites/ I was going to make my own pocketfolds, but after the second one I was on my computer searching for a place to purchase them. I ended up getting "almost perfect" A7 pocketfolds from www.paperandmore.com, they shipped fast and they were awesome! Since we decided on Starfish for our logo I decided to tie it together with the starfish and raffia. Here are the information sheets that I included for our guests, this gave them basic travel info, etc to help with planning. I decided against having guests RSVP by mail, so I attached this RSVP card to direct them to our website. The following is the list of supplies: Pocketfolds - Paperandmore.com Paper - Michaels - metallic paper Raffia - Michaels Turquoise paper - Michaels (12 x 12 scrapbooking paper) Envelopes - Michaels Starfish - Etsy Centering Ruler - Michaels My only issue was centering my paper for the invitation, but I purchased a centering ruler from Michaels. This was an excellent investment (especially with a 50% off coupon)! So here is my finished product! If you have any questions feel free to contact me, I would also be willing to share my templates if anyone is interested.
  14. So I got the sample yesterday, it is a nice bag, especially for the money. My only problem with the bag is that their isn't an inside pocket, or a ring to hang a small bag. But other then that, it is a great bag. Also, I was really looking for a bag the zippers and wasn't going to break the bank.
  15. The turquoise one. The pink is too light and the turquoise one is good for males and females.
  16. I should receive the sample within the next week, I'll let you know.
  17. I just found these nice OOT bags, they have them in several colors and I just ordered a sample, can't wait to get them. They are a really good price through this website https://www.sassyapparelblanks.com/1100-Gemline-Select-Zippered-Tote?gclid=CLrUx6abor0CFUuXOgodJXoA2g What do you think?
  18. @@trbutler I love the candles, aloe, etc ideas...but we are carrying everything with us to Mexico. how many guest do you have? are you mailing stuff to the resort or carrying it with you? We are looking at having between 20-25 guests, so probably only needing about 12-15 bags. We are taking everything with us the shipping is crazy. I have also heard horror stories of people shipping their stuff to Mexico and it get held up at customs.
  19. I have recently lucked out on some great finds for my OOT bags, since my wedding isn't until December it gives me plenty of time to price shop and spread the "pain" of the cost out. Yankee Candle is having one of their semi-annual sales and I thought these travel tins would be nice to add to the bags. They are normally $5.49, but they are now on sale for 75% off bringing them to $1.37 each. I got tropical scents Coconut Bay and Pineapple Cilantro. I decided to make my own small bottles of aloe. I got the bottles at dollar tree and the aloe at Christmas Tree Shops - There are 3 bottles per package so that makes them 33 cents each and the Aloe is $3.49, but I had a coupon so it came to $2.93. So it will bring the price per bottle down to 70 cents plus the cost of the label. Since the Wedding is in Aruba I picked up some Aruba products at Bath & Body Works. Aruba lotion/body wash - $3 B&BW Handsanitizers in Caribbean Escape and Aqua Blue - 67 cents Also in this picture is the 4 pack of bath sponges/loofas I picked up at Christmas Tree Shops 84 cents - so 21 cents each for them! I'm sure there will be MORE to follow!
