I'm trying to figure our which bag to get. The colors for our wedding are fuchsia and turquoise, and I am having a hard time finding a nice bag to compliment these colors. My mother does embroidery so I was going to do a starfish with Aruba on the bag, just something simple. So I guess my real question is...would it look dumb to use a bag with navy trim with a logo using fuchsia and turquoise.

You can get them year round online, not sure how available they are once fall passes in stores.

We are trying to make our wedding as fun as possible for our guests. I have a couple of ideas for the wedding: 1 - Giving guests beach balls to throw during the recessional, we are also planning on playing Georgia Satellites - Keep your Hands to yourself 2 - Having glow bracelets for the guests for during the dinner and rest of the evening 3 - Doing a photo booth guest book with props and a chalk board to give us their wedding advice We aren't having a DJ, my FI parents are pretty reserved so we are just having a dinner and then the "younger" people are going to party the rest of the night away with some bar hopping. Does anyone have any other FUN ideas!

Today I picked up a package of glow bracelets from Dollar Tree and Christmas Tree Shops. I "tested" then both and after an hour the Dollar Tree one had lost 90% if it's glow, so I thought maybe it was a dud. So I tried a second one, same results. The CTS one is still glowing strong after 8 hours! And the Christmas Tree Shops ones were cheaper! You get 10 asst colors for $1

Has anyone ever purchased the glow necklaces/braclets from oriental tradng and dollar tree. I was wondering about the quality of them. Any help would be great!

I'm thinking about doing a welcome cocktail reception the night before our wedding, I'm thinking about just doing a simple one hour reception with drinks and a few apps. Then all the guests can go where they want for dinner. Is an hour too short?

I am so thrilled I finally decided on the chair decor for our wedding and for the right price! This is my inspiration: I found spools of Organza that are 5" x 18ft for $1 at AC Moore in the perfect fuschia! (They had other colors also) I am only going to use 1 starfish per chair. I picked up a bag of 3-4" pencil starfish at Christmas Tree Shops for $1.85 for 6 (I had a coupon) . So if I take the time and use a bunch of the 50% off coupons at AC Moore, I'm looking at only 55 cents per chair. So for all 30 it would be around $16.50! What are your thoughts?

I considered handing the bags out prior to our departure, but decided against it. I wanted the guests to actually take the items with them, I was worried that it I game them before they wouldn't take the items. I am also having my parents and my brother take the items with them, they will be in Aruba a week before me so they are actually going to put the bags together prior to our arrival and deliver them to the hotel. (They don't know all this yet)

I'm doing OOT bags only, but since I only have to do between 15-20 I am spending around $20-$25 per bag, way more then most people spend on a wedding favor.
