My Wedding Invitiations arrived last week! I'm so excited and finally feel like the wedding is actually coming up fast! I worked with Amber from Suite Paper and she was absolutley amazing. She created exactly what I wanted within my budget and was so easy and professional to work with.

Hello! I created luggage tag inserts on Vista print for my upcoming wedding. I had to buy 250 business cards but only need about 100 so am willing to give to another bride if they are interested in using. They fit perfectly into my luggage tags and really look great. There is no cost for these. I figure this site has been so helpful and I'm just going to throw them out if I don't use so figure i'd send to someone on a tight budget who would like them. They are generic so can be used no matter where you wedding is. I've attached photo of front and back as well as what they look like in the luggage tags. Hopefully I can help out one ( or more) or the ladies out there.

@@lolita2014 those are adorable! They came out so nice. Great job. I got the badge holder and coil for the wrist but didn't create the insert yet. It's on my list of things to do! I ordered the vertical badge holders so I need to create the template so that it fits vertically which believe it or not is hard to do to make everything fit!

Does anyone know if they will do a bonfire on the beach for the welcome reception or if that's an option at the resort at all? I would love to do something like that but I really don't hear back from Anel ever so even if I ask I won't hear back. If someone has already researched this information please let me know! Thanks One more question for the girls who have already gotten married or are withing 45 days of the wedding. once you fill out your planning form and send to Anel does she actually finally respond to you because of the close date to you rwedding? Or do you have to call to set up time to walk through the planning form? Or do you not review the planning form until you get to the resort for your wedding?

@@Breanna2015 that's $441 total for the three nights per person. so $881/couple for 3 nights/4 days

@@Breanna2015 Congrats! Yes that is actually a very good pice. My guests are paying $441/per person for 3 nights/4 days that price also includes a travel voucher for transportation to and from the cancun airport to the resort.

@CurlyKristen- We only got engaged in Nov and wedding was in June but we did a room block with our travel agent within a few weeks of getting engage to make sure the resort had rooms avaiable. I would highly suggest reserving room as early as possible ( at least 6 months before) as January is peak season in mexico so you don't want the rooms to fill up if you wait too long. If you work with a travel agent they can lock in a rate with the resort help ensure prices don't go up. Our block was $441pp from thurs-sun in june ( which is off-peak) including transfers to/from the airport Hope this helps.

@@DinaQtobe and @@meganator22 Does anyone know any details about the welcome bags? How did you have the delivered? Were your bags customized for specific guests with their name? Or were they all the same and you had the resort just drop off to everyone included in the party? I don't want to overcomplicate but there are some families so I will need to include more stuff in the bag if it's a room of 2 vs. 4,etc. Also how much does the resort charge to deliver the bags? Thanks

@@Anya530 and @@Curly Kristen you can make postcards at Vistaprint for very inexpensive with whatever design you want. I made luggage tags with a beachy design and a postcard for our guest book with our wedding logo. You could go online and google images of mexico then save them and download to a postcard template on vistaprint. It's so easy and they come out very nice. I've attached the postcards and the luggage tag I created ( I googled beach background and found the photo ) let me know if you have any other questions!

@@rvalenka here is what I am doing for my seating cards. I saw this idea on pinterest. I got the starfish at christmas tree shop they were sellnig them in packs 6 for $2.29 which is a GREAT DEAL! I will make the actual seating cards through vista print I think or print them on the computer on cardstock. I haven't figured that part out yet.

I made great progress this past weekend while stuck home with the flu and then through the snowstorm we got here in the northeast. Vista print was having a semi-annual sale so I ordered postcards which will give our guests with a note asking them tomail back their favorite memory of the wedding for our scrapbook and also the inserts for the luggage tags which I will send out with the pre-welcome brochure. I figure it didn't matter how early I ordered those because they won't change from not until the wedding. I will have ALOT of extra inserts for the luggage tags since minimum order is 250 ( they were so cheap it was worth it) The design was generic so if anyone wants them I'll mail them to you once they arrive. All you have to pay is shipping. I'll see if I can attach a photo. I also ordered the luggage tags and the badge holder for the key holder. So much to still do but well on my way. Here are a few of things I made on vistaprint. I am NOT creative whatsoever. If it wasn't for the girls on this post I wouldn't have any of these ideas so thanks to everyone across BDW that shared their ideas to make this possible for me. This is the front of the luggage tag which I will have extra of so if you like let me know and they are yours! This is the back of luggage tag. Kind of basic but it does the trick This will be put in front of the postcards in teh welcome bag for each guest tied with ribbon. This is front of postcard. we kept it simple because we will probably put in a scrapbook and cover the front design anyway This is back of postcard. Pre- Addressed and we will also have stamps on them so all people have to do when they get home is drop them in the mailbox.

I was very productive this weekend completing some odds and ends for the welcome bags,etc. I figure since it's so cold here int he northesat and I can't really go outside anyway I might as well do stuff for the wedding so it doesn't all build up come april/may. I ordered a few items for the welcome bags, as well as some items on vista print for our pre-wedding packet ( Luggage tags) I still have quite a bit to do but figure starting now will make it easier in the long run. I stilll can't believe it's only 4 months away at this point. It will be here before we know it

@peaxchy We are using the photo book for two hours ( After dinner for two hours) I do'nt have any experience with it but I've been to a few weddings and it was AWESOME! Sorry I couldn't be more helpful and yes let me know what she says about the guitarist. As far as I'm concerned the reason should be that we are paying all this extra money for food and drinks at an ALL INCLUSIVE resort and $3000 for the divine package so we should be able to be somewhat flexible with what comes in the package. I am having 80+ people and am spending ALOT more than the $3000 divine package so I would be really dissappointed with NOW sapphire if they refused to let me make this change which infact plenty of other brides on this blog have made. Let me know what she says.

@van83- Anel said that you request the room upgrade on your planning form and she will work with the hotel to see if there is a room upgrade available. Basically you won't know until you get there if you get the upgrade

@@reidjenn I hired Amoritocorazon for less than $2000. I'm getting married in June so not sure if prices changes depending on the season. Many of the brides have used this photographer and have had WONDERFUL reviews. I have them booked for 6 hours on the day of my wedding. @@van83 I was planning on using at cocktail hour too. Many of the brides were able to do that. I would go back to her and tell her that you konw otehr brides were able to do this and why aren't you able to? I'm sure I'll have to have the same conversation with her if that's the case.

@@rvalenka my best friend from childhood is doing the ceremony for my FI and I. It is going to be perfect as she is my oldest friend and very close with my fiance also. It will be much more special than using someone at the resort and I'm fortunate that she is willing to do it for us!

My wedding is June 7th there. I haven't seen the resort so am a little nervous but from readin gthrough all these posts I think I made the right choice bc all the brides have said the resort is wonderful. @Collleeen where did you get the luggage tags from? What website? Also did you create the template for the luggage tags on vistaprint? Do you happen to have the template for it in word? Thanks
